Turn offthe projector andunplug thepower cord. 2. Slide theairfilter cover latchandopen theairfilter cover. 142
3. Pull theairfilter outofthe projector. 4. Tap each sideofthe airfilter 4to 5times toshake offany excess dust. Caution: Donot use excessive forcewhen tapping theairfilter, oritmay crack andbecome unusable. Donot rinse theairfilter inwater, oruse anydetergent orsolvent toclean it.Do not use canned air;the gases mayleave aresidue orpush dustanddebris intotheprojectors opticsorother sensitive areas. 143
5. Vacuum thefront ofthe airfilter (theside withthetabs) toremove anyremaining dust. Note: Ifdust isdifficult toremove orthe airfilter isdamaged, replacetheairfilter. 6. 5. Hold thelamp byitshandle andgently pullitout ofthe projector. Note: Thelamp(s) inthis product containmercury. Pleaseconsult yourstate andlocal regulations regardingdisposalorrecycling. Donot putinthe trash. 6. Gently insertthenew lamp intotheprojector. Ifitdoes notfiteasily, makesureitis facing theright way. 149
