     Caution:
    Useonly thetype ofbatteries specified inthis manual. Donot install batteries ofdifferent types,

    Insert thebatteries withthe+and –ends facing asshown.
     3.
    Close thebattery coverandpress itdown untilitclicks intoplace.
     Warning:
    Disposeofused batteries according tolocal regulations. Donot expose batteries toheat

    flame. Keepbatteries outofthe reach ofchildren; theyarechoking hazards andarevery
     dangerous
    ifswallowed.

    Connect thepower cordtothe projectors powerinlet.
     2.
    Plug thepower cordintoanelectrical outlet.
     The
    projectors powerlightturns blue.Thisindicates thattheprojector isreceiving power.
     Note:
    WithDirect Power Onturned on,theprojector turnsonassoon asyou plug itin.
     3.
    Press thepower button onthe projector orthe Onbutton onthe remote controltoturn onthe
     projector.
    
    The
    shutter opensandtheStatus lightflashes blueasthe projector warmsup.Once theprojector is
     warmed
    up,theStatus lightstops flashing andturns blue.
     Warning:
    Neverlookintotheprojector lenswhen thelamp ison. This candamage youreyes andis
     especially
    dangerous forchildren.
     If
    you donot see aprojected imagerightaway, trythe following:
     •
    Turn onthe connected computerorvideo device.
     •
    Insert aDVD orother video media andpress theplay button, ifnecessary.
     •
    Press theSource buttononthe projector todetect thevideo source, orpress asource buttononthe
     remote
    control.

    Turning
    Offthe Projector
     Before
    turning offthe projector, shutdown anycomputer connected toitso you canseethecomputer
     display
    duringshutdown.
     Note:
    Turnoffthis product whennotinuse toprolong thelifeofthe projector. Lamplifewill vary
     depending
    uponmode selected, environmental conditions,andusage. Brightness decreasesovertime.
     Note:
    When usingtheBlank feature, theprojector lampisstill on.Toturn offthe lamp, turnoffthe
     projector.
    
    1.
    Press thepower button onthe projector orthe Standby buttononthe remote control.
     The
    projector displaysashutdown confirmation screen.
     2.
    Press thepower button onthe projector orthe Standby buttononthe remote controlagain.(To
     leave
    iton, press anyother button.)
     The
    shutter closes, thelamp turns off,and theStatus lightturns off.
     3.
    Totransport orstore theprojector, makesuretheStatus lightisoff, then unplug thepower cord.

    Toavoid damaging theprojector orlamp, never unplug thepower cordwhen theStatus

    Connect a3D-compatible videodevice tothe projector usingacompatible HDMIcable.
     2.
    Turn onthe video device, thenturnonthe projector.
     3.
    Begin playback fromthevideo device.
     Note:
    Makesureyousetthe video device toplay content in3D mode.
     4.
    Press the2D/3D buttononthe remote controltoactivate 3Dmode, ifnecessary.

    Slide thepower switch onthe 3Dglasses tothe Onposition.
     6.
    Putonthe 3Dglasses. Ifyou donot see a3D image, pairtheglasses withtheprojector.
     Note:
    Ifyou change thevideo source oryou arenotwithin range ofyour projector, theglasses enter
     standby
    modeandtheindicator lightflashes green.Slidethepower switch onthe glasses tothe Off
     position
    andthen back tothe Onposition toresume 3Dviewing.
