The shutter opensandtheStatus lightflashes blueasthe projector warmsup.Once theprojector is warmed up,theStatus lightstops flashing andturns blue. Turning Offthe Projector Before turning offthe projector, shutdown anycomputer connected toitso you canseethecomputer display duringshutdown. Note: Turnoffthis product whennotinuse toprolong thelifeofthe projector. Lamplifewill vary depending uponmode selected, environmental conditions,andusage. Brightness decreasesovertime. Note: When usingtheBlank feature, theprojector lampisstill on.Toturn offthe lamp, turnoffthe projector. 1. Press thepower button onthe projector orthe Standby buttononthe remote control. The projector displaysashutdown confirmation screen. 2. Press thepower button onthe projector orthe Standby buttononthe remote controlagain.(To leave iton, press anyother button.) The shutter closes, thelamp turns off,and theStatus lightturns off. 3. Totransport orstore theprojector, makesuretheStatus lightisoff, then unplug thepower cord. 35
