Todothis, youconnect theprojector to your network, andthen setupyour projector andcomputer fornetwork projection. After connecting andsetting upthe projector asdescribed here,install thenetwork software fromthe Epson Projector SoftwareCD-ROM onyour computer. Usethefollowing softwareanddocumentation to set up, control, andmonitor network projection: • EasyMP Network Projection softwaresetsupyour computer fornetwork projection. Seethe EasyMP NetworkProjection OperationGuideforinstructions. • EasyMP Monitorsoftware (Windows only)letsyou monitor andcontrol yourprojector throughthe network. Select thefollowing basicoptions asnecessary: • Projector Nameletsyou enter aname upto16 alphanumeric characterslongtoidentify the projector overthenetwork. • PJLink Password letsyou enter apassword upto32 alphanumeric characterslongforusing the PJLink protocol forprojector control(PowerLite 1940W/1950/1960). • Web Control Password orWeb Remote Password letsyou enter apassword upto8 alphanumeric characterslongforaccessing theprojector overtheweb. • Projector Keywordletsyou turn onasecurity password toprevent accesstothe projector by anyone notinthe room withit.You must enter adisplayed, randomized keywordfromacomputer using theEasyMP NetworkProjection softwaretoaccess theprojector. Note: Usethedisplayed keyboardtoenter thename, passwords andkeyword. Pressthearrow buttons onthe remote controltohighlight characters andpress Enter toselect them. 7. 8. Ifnecessary, selectIPSettings andpress Enter. 9. Select yourIPSettings asnecessary: • Ifyour network assignsaddresses automatically, turnonthe DHCP setting. • Ifyou must setaddresses manually,turnoffDHCP andenter theprojectors IPAddress ,Subnet Mask ,and Gateway Addressasneeded. Note: Tohighlight thenumbers youwant fromthedisplayed keyboard, pressthearrow buttons on the remote control. Toselect ahighlighted number,pressEnter. 10. Toprevent displayofthe IPaddress onthe standby screen,turnoffIPAddress Display. 11. When youfinish selecting settings,selectComplete orSetup Complete andfollow theon-screen instructions tosave yoursettings andexitthemenus. Using Quick Wireless Connection (WindowsOnly) You canusetheoptional QuickWireless Connection USBKeytoquickly connect theprojector toa Windows computer wirelessly. Thenyoucanproject yourpresentation andremove thekey when you are done. 1. Turn onthe projector. 2. Connect theUSB keytothe projectors USB-Aport. You seeaprojected messagethatthenetwork information updateiscomplete. 3. Remove theUSB key. 4. Now connect theUSB keytoaUSB portonyour computer ornotebook. Note: InWindows Vista,ifyou seetheAutoPlay window,selectRunLaunchU3.exe ,then select Allow onthe next screen. 5. Follow theon-screen instructions toinstall theQuick Wireless Connection driver. Note: Ifyou seeaWindows Firewallmessage, clickYestodisable thefirewall. After afew minutes, yourcomputer imageisdisplayed bythe projector. Ifitdoes notappear, press the LAN button onyour projector remotecontrolorrestart yourcomputer. 6. Run your presentation asnecessary. 7. When youfinish projecting wirelessly, removetheUSB keyfrom yourcomputer. Note: Youmay need torestart yourcomputer toreactivate yourwireless LANconnection.
