     Epson
    802.11b/g/n wirelessLANmodule, andthen setupyour projector andcomputer forwireless

    Note:
    Thewireless LANmodule isnot included withallprojector models.
     There
    aretwo ways toconnect theprojector toyour wireless network:

    Using theoptional QuickWireless Connection USBKey(Windows only)

    Configuring theconnection manuallyusingtheprojectors Networkmenus
     After
    installing themodule andsetting upthe projector, installthenetwork software. Youcandownload
     the
    latest software anddocumentation fromtheEpson website. Gotoepson.com/support (U.S.)or
     epson.ca/support
    (Canada)andselect yourprojector. Usethefollowing softwareanddocumentation to
     set
    up, control, andmonitor wireless projection:

    EasyMP Network Projection softwaresetsupyour computer forwireless networkprojection.
     •
    EasyMP Monitorsoftware (Windows only)letsyou monitor andcontrol yourprojector throughthe

    wireless networkallowstheexchange ofinformation usingradiosignals, soyou caneasily connect to

    network ifyou arewithin range ofthe radio signals. However, withinacertain range,thesignals can
     reach
    unintended recipients.
     Security
    expertsrecommend passwordprotectedwirelessnetworks. Checkwithyour network
     administrator
    forguidance onsetting upwireless securityforyour network.
     If
    wireless securitycountermeasures arenotimplemented, problemssuchasthe following mayoccur:
     •
    Communicated datacould beintercepted byathird party whoisreceiving wirelesstransmissions
     without
    authorization, andwho could obtain personal information fromthese transmissions suchas
     IDs,
    passwords, creditcardnumbers, orthe contents ofpersonal e-mailmessages.

    Unauthorized accesstoanetwork byathird party could result inaccess toan individual orintra-
     company
    networkwithoutpermission, allowingthemtodo any ofthe following:

    Retrieve personal dataorother secret information (information leakage)

    Pose asanother userandsend inappropriate data(impersonation)
     •
    Overwrite thecontents ofintercepted dataandresend it(falsification)
     •
    Introduce acomputer viruswhich couldcause datalossorsystem crashes (damage)

    canusetheQuick Wireless Connection USBkeytoquickly connect yourcomputer tothe projector
     wirelessly.
    Thenyoucanproject yourpresentation andremove thekey when youaredone.
     Note:
    TheQuick Wireless Connection USBkeyisnot included withyour projector.
     Note:
    Makesurethewireless LANmodule isinstalled.
     1.
    Turn onthe projector.
     2.
    Press theLAN button onthe remote control.
     You
    seeascreen likethis:

    Verify thatanSSID andIPaddress aredisplayed, thenremove thewireless LANmodule fromthe
     projector.

    Insert theQuick Wireless Connection USBkeyinto thesame portused forthe wireless LANmodule.
     You
    seeaprojected messagethatthenetwork information updateiscomplete.
     5.
    Remove theUSB key.
     6.
    Reinsert thewireless LANmodule intotheprojector.
     7.
    Now connect theUSB keytoaUSB portonyour computer ornotebook.
     Note:
    InWindows Vista,ifyou seetheAutoPlay window,selectRunLaunchQWRD.exe ,then
     select
    Allow onthe next screen.
     8.
    Follow theon-screen instructions toinstall theQuick Wireless Connection driver.
     Note:
    Ifyou seeaWindows Firewallmessage, clickYestodisable thefirewall forthis application.
     After
    afew minutes, yourcomputer imageisdisplayed bythe projector. Ifitdoes notappear, press
     the
    LAN button onyour projector remotecontrolorrestart yourcomputer.
     9.
    Run your presentation asnecessary.
     10.
    When youfinish projecting wirelessly, selecttheSafely Remove Hardware optioninthe Windows
     taskbar,
    thenremove theUSB keyfrom yourcomputer.
     Note:
    Youmay need torestart yourcomputer toreactivate yourwireless LANconnection.

    Projector Keywordletsyou turn onasecurity password toprevent accesstothe projector by
     anyone
    notinthe room withit.You must enter adisplayed, randomized keywordfromacomputer
     using
    theEasyMP NetworkProjection softwaretoaccess theprojector.
     Note:
    Usethedisplayed keyboardtoenter thename, passwords andkeyword. Pressthearrow
     buttons
    onthe remote controltohighlight characters andpress Enter toselect them.

    Select theWireless LANmenu andpress Enter.
     8.
    Select thesettings onthe Wireless LANmenu asnecessary foryour network.
     9.
    When youfinish selecting settings,selectComplete andfollow theon-screen instructions tosave

    youcomplete thewireless settingsforyour projector, youneed toselect thewireless networkon

    computer.
