Refresh Rate
The light-emitting element of a display maintains the same luminosity and color for an extremely short time. Because of this, the 
image must be scanned many times per second to refresh the light-emitting element. The number of refresh operations per 
second is called the Refresh Rate and is expressed in hertz (Hz).

•Do not carry the projector by yourself. Two people should use the 
handles to carry the projector when unpacking or moving it.
•Do not place the projector on an unstable cart, stand, or table. When 
projecting images vertically, install the projector correctly and 
appropriately to prevent it from turning over and falling.
•Do not operate the projector on its side, while tilted to one side, or 
upside down. Do not tilt the projector forward or back at a greater 
angle than that...

•Do not operate the projector in a closed-in cabinet unless proper 
ventilation is provided.
•You may need to clean the air filter and intake vent. A clogged air filter 
or vent can block ventilation needed to cool the projector.
•Do not use or store the projector outdoors for an extended length of

•Do not use the projector outside the required temperature range 
(sp.156). Doing so may cause an unstable display and could lead to 
projector damage.

•Always attach the lens cover to the lens when not using the projector, to 
prevent the lens from becoming dirty or damaged.
•Never try to remove the lamp immediately after use because it will be 
extremely hot. Before removing the lamp, turn off the power and wait 
at least an hour to allow the lamp to cool completely.
