n n n n n n n n 81 n n n n n n n n n n n n n n 5Maintenance T he PowerLite 7000 projector needs little maintenance. You should keep the lens clean because any dirt or smears appear on the screen. You also need to periodically clean the air filter at the bottom of the projector. A clogged air filter can block ventilation needed to cool the projector and keep it from overheating. The only parts you should replace are the lamp and air filter. If any other part needs replacing, contact your PowerLite 7000 dealer or a qualified service person. F Warning: Before you clean any part of the projector, turn off the projector and unplug the power cord. Never open any cover on the projector, except the lamp and filter covers. Turn off the projector and unplug the power cable. 2. Turn the projector on its right side so that the handle is on top and you can access the filter easily.Note: Standing the projector with the handle at the top keeps dust from getting inside the projector housing. 3. Use a screwdriver, coin, or similar object to unscrew one screw, lift, and remove the filter cover. pro-ch5.fm Page 83 Tuesday, May 13, 1997 2:23 PM
