Pil- ing, stacking or storing oil-affected items can prevent heat from escaping and so create a fire hazard. If it is unavoidable that fabrics that contain vegetable or cooking oil or have been con- taminated by hair care products be placed in a tumble dryer they should first be wash- ed in hot water with extra detergent - this will reduce, but not eliminate, the hazard. • Please make sure that no gas lighters or matches have accidentally been left in pockets of garments to be loaded into the appliance. • In order to avoid danger of fires caused by excessive drying, do not use appliance to dry the following items: cushions, quilts and the like (these items accumulate heat). • Items such foam rubber (latex foam), shower caps, waterproof textiles, rubber backed articles and clothes or pillows fit- ted with foam rubber pads should not be dried in the appliance. • If you have washed your laundry with stain remover you must execute an extra rinse cycle before drying. • As some duvets and eiderdowns should be washed/dried in large commercial ma- chines because of their bulk, please check with the manufacturer of the item before washing in a domestic machine. • Plastic detergent dispensers should not remain in the drum during the drying cycle, as the plastic used is not designed to with- stand the heat. If you wish to wash- through-to-dry you should use the con- ventional detergent dispenser drawer. • Never pull the power supply cable to re- move the plug from the socket; always take hold of the plug itself. • Never use your new appliance if the power supply cable, the control panel, the work- ing surface or the base are damaged so that the inside of the appliance is accessi- ble. •Caution – Hot surface!
