When this function is set to “On,” the projector will be 
automatically turned on just by connecting the AC power cord to 
the wall outlet.
✔Note:
 •	 Make	sure	that	the	main	switch	is	ON,	otherwise	the	On	start	function	does	not	work.
	•	 Be	sure	to	turn	off	the	projector	properly	(see	 “Turning	Off	
the	Projector”	on	page	24).	If	the	projector	is	turned	off	in	
the	incorrect	sequence,	the	On	start	function	does	not	work	
properly.

DOWN A NEW PIN CODE IN COLUMN OF  THE PIN CODE 
NO .  MEMO ON PAGE 75,  AND KEEP IT SECUREL y . IF

LONGER BE STARTED .The PIN code can be changed to your desired four-digit 
number. Press the Point d buttons to select “PIN code 
change” and press the SELECT button. The New PIN code

This function returns all setting values except for the user logo, 
PIN code lock, Logo PIN code lock, lamp counter, filter counter 
and filter timer to the factory default settings.

Air Filter Care and Cleaning
Turn off the projector, and unplug the AC power cord from 
the AC outlet.1

Pull out the air filter from the projector.
Clean the filter with brush out dust and particles.

Lamp Management
This Projector is equipped with 4 Projection Lamps to ensure brighter image and those lamps are controlled \
by 
the Lamp Management Function.  The Lamp Management Function detects the status of all lamps and shows 
the status on screen or on the LAMP REPLACE indicator.  This function also automatically controls  the Lamp 
Mode when any of lamps is out for the end of life or malfunctions.

Check the number of lamp to be replaced on the Lamp 
Status Display.
Remove the two screws on the Lamp Cover and press 
the button to open the Lamp Cover.  (See the right figure.)

Loosen two screws and pull out the Lamp to be replaced 
by grasping handle.4
Turn off the projector and unplug the AC Power Cord.  Let 
the projector cool for at least 45 minutes.2
Replace the Lamp with a new one and tighten two 
screws.  Make sure the Lamp is set properly.

This projector uses a high-pressure lamp which must be handled carefully and properly. 
Improper handling may result in accidents, injury, or create a fire hazard.
● Lamp  lifetime  may  differ  from  lamp  to  lamp  and  according  to  the  environment  of  use. There  is  no 
guarantee  of  the  same  lifetime  for  each  lamp.  Some  lamps  may  fail  or  terminate  their  lifetime  in  a 
shorter period of time than other similar lamps.

Unplug the AC power cord before cleaning.
Gently wipe the projection lens with a cleaning cloth that 
contains a small amount of non-abrasive camera lens 
cleaner, or use a lens cleaning paper or commercially 
available air blower to clean the lens. 
Avoid using an excessive amount of cleaner. Abrasive 
cleaners, solvents, or other harsh chemicals might scratch 
the surface of the lens.
