    							UNIQUE FEATURES
Dual Lamp and 24/7 UsableEquipped with the highly reliable
Dual Lamp System. If one lamp stops
    functioning during use, the second
    lamp activates and projects the
image with no interruption in the projection.
Also, 24 hours of continuous operation is available
with the Alternative mode which alternates the use of the two lamps.
HDCR (High Dynamic Contrast Range)When average projectors are used in bright rooms, the darker colors of an
image deteriorate and images become unclear. Using this function, blurred
images caused by room lighting or outside light sources are corrected, and
an effect similar to increasing contrast occurs. This results in clear images
    even in bright rooms.
    HDCR OFFHDCR ON
DICOM® Simulation ModeThe DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) Simulation \
Mode projects grayscale images which approximate DICOM Part 14
specifications. This mode is ideal for viewing grayscale medical image\
    s, such
as X-rays, for training and educational purposes.
The projectors have a DICOM (Digital
    Imaging and Communications in
    Medicine) Simulation Mode. This mode
    simulates the DICOM standard, which
is a standard applicable to digital
    communications in medicine, and is
    useful for displaying medical images
    such as X-rays. These projectors
are not medical devices and are not
    compliant with the DICOM standard,
and neither the projector nor the
    DICOM Simulation Mode should be
used for medical diagnosis. Comparison photos are simulations.
AccentualizerDukane original technology makes pictures look more real by enhancing
sharpness, gloss and shade to make pictures as clear as pictures on a
flat-panel device. You can also adjust the effects by three levels according
to your surroundings so that the colors of projected images are the actual
    colors of the
    objects they
    represent. Sharpness GlossShade
Built-in Dual Color WheelTwo color wheels are built in to match usage conditions. By switching the
color wheel, you can achieve an image quality to match the projected image.
Previously requiring the services of an expert, Dukane unique technology
allows you to switch the color wheel in about 10 seconds by the remote
control without having to open the chassis to install the color wheel.
Rich Color Mode: Reproduces color in
levels equivalent to digital cinema. Ideal for
use in museums and for viewing videos
    that emphasize color.
    Bright Mode: Prioritizes brightness
    and sharpens white colors. Achieves
    projections with contrast and bright
images, making it ideal for presentations
and other situations that require the sharing
    of information.
    Rich Color ModeBright Mode
360º RotationDisplay rotation of 360º for creative applications
    and greater installation flexibility.
Geometric CorrectionGeometric correction is possible from your computer by using the specialized
application. Projection is possible on spherical surfaces and surfaces with
corners, as well as conventional flat screens.
Edge BlendingProjectors are equipped with the Edge Blending function that achieves the
seamless projection of one image using multiple projectors. The 9000 series
    comes with various blending
functions that meet the level users
    are looking for.
    Instant blending: Easily perform
    blending processing without the
    use of any special equipment.
Automatic blending: Use a camera and quickly perform high precision
blending processing automatically. Requires installation of a specialized
    application to your computer.

VDSL. VDSL (ver y high bit-rate DSL) operates over t he copper wires in a phone line in a manner similar to
ADSL, but at much faster speeds. VDSL can achiev e speeds as high as 52 Mbps downstream and 16 Mbps
upstream, as opposed to ADSL (up to 8 Mbps downstream and 800 Kbps upstream).

Note: Any equipment or devices that must be installed at the NID are outside the scope of this
    document.
Choose a Computer and Connection Type
If the customer has ordered IPTV and High Speed In ternet, the preferred location for installing the
3700HGV-B is by the first video set top box. In this ca se, the first PC may or may not be located in the
same room. If the customer ordered High Speed In ternet access only, then the 3700HGV-B should be
installed near the first PC. Computers can be connected to the 3700HGV-B via Ethernet, wireless, USB, or
    MoCA.
The first computer you connect to the network is us ed to configure the 3700HGV-B for proper operation. If
the customer has not ordered High Speed Internet, then the techni cian must use their assigned laptop to
    configure the 3700HGV-B.
Choose one of the following methods to connect the fi rst computer to the 3700HGV-B. Save and close all
open programs before you begin connecting the 3700HGV-B.

    Non-2Wire Wireless Adapter Configuration
Locating the Serial Number and Wireless
    Encr yption Key
A por tion of the serial number of your
3700HGV-B is used as the network name
(SSID). Beneath the serial number is a ten-
digit number which is used as the encr yption
key. These are located on the bottom of your
3700HGV-B (shown in ver tical orientation).
You will need this information to configure
    your wireless adapter.
    Configuring the Adapter
    1.Install and configure your wireless
    adapter according to the manufacturer’s
    instructions.
    2.Use the network adapter configuration
    software or Windows network connection
wizard to set the network name (SSID)
    and encryption key (WPA).
a.The network name is the word “2WIRE” (in all capital letters), followed by the
last three digits of the gateway serial
    number (for example, 2WIRE110).
    b. The encryption key is a 64-bit hex value, located beneath the bar code on the bottom of the 2Wire gateway. In the example, it is 4119627022.
    c. For Mac OS X users, you may need to enter the “$” character at the beginning of the
encr yption key (for example, $4119627022).
Note: The above instructions are for users configur ing their adapter with WPA. If the user’s
wireless adapter doesnt support WPA they should us e WEP; however, this decreases the level of
    security provided for wireless traffic.
