dark metal DMD’s™.  Like their LIGHTNING pred-
ecessors, the 30sx+ and 40sx+ are destined to
be the first choice of professionals who stage 
prestigious events such as the Grammy®
Awards and the Oscars®.  With contrast of
1800:1 and awe-inspiring lumen capability, the
30sx+
and 40sx+ are unmatched for applications
as diverse as world class staged events, com-
mercial entertainment, major outdoor venues,
large-scale simulation, gaming and houses of
worship. 
When paired with the Video Image Processor
1000 (VIP 1000), the new LIGHTNING 30sx+ 
and
40sx+  can support any analog, digital video, HD
or computer source. The easy-to-use, rack-
mountable systemincludes DigiLink, a single-wire,
ultra-high bandwidthdigital output to the projector,
dramatically simplifying system wiring and reduc-
ing installationcosts.  Beyond its multi-input
capabilities, the VIP 1000 includes HQV video
processing, noise reduction, de-interlacing, and
user-definable geometric warp.
