See Protecting Against Electrostatic Discharge i\ n your System Information Guide. 3. Slide the hard drive out of the computer. 4. Remove the new drive from its packaging. Save the original packaging to use when storing or shipping the hard dri\ ve. NOTICE: Use firm and even pressure to slide the drive into place. If you force the hard drive into place using excessive force, you may damage the conn\ ector. 5. Press the hard drive cover down until it is fully seated in the bay, and\ then replace and tighten the two screws. 6.
