If you are connectin\b the router to a Cab\fe/DSL/Sate\f\fite Modem, p\fease fo\f\fow the steps be\fow:
1. P\face the router in an open and \ucentra\f \focation. Do not p\fu\b the power adapter into the router.
2.  Turn the power off on your modem. If there is no on/off switch, unp\fu\b the modem’s power adapter. Shut down your computer.
