Movethedrillbitintotheworkpieceapplyingonly enoughpressuretokeepthebitcutting.Donotforceor applysidepressuretoelongateahole. ,_WARNING:Bepreparedforbindingorbit breakthrough.Whenthesesituationsoccur,drill hasatendencytograbandkickoppositetothe directionofrotationandcouldcauselossof controlwhenbreakingthroughmaterial.Ifnot prepared,thislossofcontrolcanresultin possibleseriousinjury. Whendrillingmetals,usealightoilonthedrillbitto keepitfromoverheating.Theoilwillprolongthelifeof thebitandincreasethedrillingaction. []Allbatteriesgraduallylosetheircharge.The higherthetemperaturethequickertheylosetheir charge.Ifyoustoreyourtoolforlongperiodsof timewithoutusingit,rechargethebatteriesevery monthortwo.Thispracticewillprolongbattery life. Topreservenaturalresources, pleaserecycleordisposeof batteriesproperly. Thisproductcontainsnickel- cadmiumbatteries.Local,stateor federallawsmayprohibitdisposal ofnickel-cadmiumbatteriesin ordinarytrash.
