    applysidepressuretoelongateahole. 
    ,_WARNING:Bepreparedforbindingorbit 
    breakthrough.Whenthesesituationsoccur,drill 
    hasatendencytograbandkickoppositetothe 
    directionofrotationandcouldcauselossof 
    controlwhenbreakingthroughmaterial.Ifnot 
    prepared,thislossofcontrolcanresultin 
    possibleseriousinjury. 
    Whendrillingmetals,usealightoilonthedrillbitto 
    keepitfromoverheating.Theoilwillprolongthelifeof 
    thebitandincreasethedrillingaction. 
    Ifthebitjamsinworkpieceorifthedrillstalls,release 
    switchtriggerimmediately.Removethebitfromthe 
    workpieceanddeterminethereasonforjamming.

    Thebatteriesinthistoolhavebeendesignedto 
    providemaximumtroublefreelife.However,likeall 
    batteries,theywilleventuallywearout.Donot 
    disassemblebatterypackandattempttoreplacethe 
    batteries.Handlingofthesebatteries,especiallywhen 
    wearingringsandjewelry,couldresultinaserious 
    burn. 
    Toobtainthelongestpossiblebatterylife,wesuggest 
    thefollowing: []Storeandchargeyourbatteriesinacoolarea. 
    Temperaturesbelow50°Forabove100°Fwill 
    shortenbatterylife. 
    []Neverstorebatteriesinadischargedcondition. 
    Rechargethemimmediatelyaftertheyare 
    discharged. 
    []Allbatteriesgraduallylosetheircharge.The 
    higherthetemperaturethequickertheylosetheir 
    charge.Ifyoustoreyourtoolforlongperiodsof 
    timewithoutusingit,rechargethebatteriesevery 
    monthortwo.Thispracticewillprolongbattery 
    life. 
    Topreservenaturalresources, 
    pleaserecycleordisposeof 
    batteriesproperly. 
    Thisproductcontainsnickel- 
    cadmiumbatteries.Local,stateor 
    federallawsmayprohibitdisposal 
    ofnickel-cadmiumbatteriesin
