    cuttobestraight.Usecautiontopreventtheblade 
    frombindinginthecut.

    Theangleofcutofyoursawmaybeadjustedtoany 
    desiredsettingbetweenzeroand51.5°.NOTE:When 
    makingcutsat51.5°bladeshouldbesetatfulldepth 
    ofcut,withedgeguidescrewremoved. 
    Whenmaking45°bevelcuts,thereisanotchinthe 
    sawbasetohelpyoulineupthebladewiththelineof

    Mostplasticsaresusceptibletodamagefromvarious 
    typesofcommercialsolventsandmaybedamaged 
    bytheiruse.Usecleanclothstoremovedirt,carbon 
    dust,etc.

    gasoline,petroleum-basedproducts,penetrating 
    oils,etc.comeincontactwithplasticparts.They

    acceleratedwearandpossibleprematurefailurewhen 
    theyareusedonfiberglassboats,sportscars, 
    wallboard,spacklingcompounds,orplaster.The 
    chipsandgrindingsfromthesematerialsarehighly 
    abrasivetoelectrictoolpartssuchasbearings, 
    brushes,commutators,etc.Consequently,itisnot 
    recommendedthatthistoolbeusedforextended 
    workonanyfiberglassmaterial,wallboard,spackling 
    compounds,orplaster.Duringanyuseonthese 
    materialsitisextremelyimportantthatthetoolis 
    cleanedfrequentlybyblowingwithanairjet.

    EXTENSIONCORDS 
    Theuseofanyextensioncordwillcausesomelossof 
    power.Tokeepthelosstoaminimumandtoprevent 
    tooloverheating,useanextensioncordthatisheavy 
    enoughtocarrythecurrentthetoolwilldraw. 
    Awiregagesize(A.W.G.)ofatleast14is 
    recommendedforanextensioncord50feetorlessin 
    length.Whenworkingoutdoors,useanextension 
    cordthatissuitableforoutdooruse.Thecordsjacket 
    willbemarkedWA.
