®Whenfeedingshreddablematerialintothisequipment, 
beextremelycarefulthatpiecesofmetal,rocks,bottles, 
cansorotherforeignobjectsarenotincludedPersonal 
injuryordamagetothemachinecouldresult oifthecuttingmechanismstrikesanyforeignobjector 
yourmachineshouldstartmakinganunusualnoiseor 
vibration,immediatelystoptheengine,disconnectthe 
sparkplugwirefromthesparkplugandmoveitaway 
fromthesparkplugAllowthemachinetostopandtake 
thefollowingsteps:

Replaceorrepairanydamagedparts 
Checkforanyloosepartsandtightentoassurecontin- 
uedsafeoperation 
eTheenginemustbekeptcleanofdebrisandotheraccu- 
mulations. 
eDonotallowanaccumulationofprocessedmaterialto 
buildupinthedischargeareaasthiswillpreventproper 
dischargeandcanresultinkick-backfromfeedopening 
eNeverplaceyourhandsoranyotherpartofyourbodyor 
clothinginsidethefeedingchamber,dischargechuteor 
nearanymovingpartwhiletheengineisrunning 
eKeepallguardsanddeflectorsinplaceandingoodwork-
