    airisdrawninthroughtheairintakefilterandthen 
    throughtheairintakevalves.Theexhaustvalveremains 
    closed.Ontheupstrokeofthepiston,airiscompressed. 
    Theintakevalvescloseandcompressedairisforced 
    outthroughtheexhaustvalve,throughtheoutlettube, 
    throughthecheckvalveandintotheairtank.Workingair 
    isnotavailableuntilthecompressorhasraisedairtank 
    pressureabovethatrequiredattheairoutlet. 
    CheckValve:Whentheaircompressorisoperating,the

    handleintothesaddleuntiltheholesonthesideofthe 
    saddleandhandleareinline. 
    2.Guidethestraightendofeachretainingctipthrough 
    thesaddleholeandbothhandleholes(Fig.3). 
    3.Rotateeachretainingclipclockwiseandpressdown 
    untilitsnapsintoplaceoverthepullhandle(Fig.4). 
    4.Ifthehandlehasexcessivemovement,itisimproperly 
    installed.Checkthefollowing:
