Adjust the Image D4K2560 User Manual41 020-101076-04 Rev. 1 (01-2015) Adjust DMD convergence A convergence problem occurs when one or more projected colors (red, green, blue) appears misaligned when examined with a convergence te st pattern. Normally, the three colors should overlap precisely to form pure white lines throug hout the image and one or more poorly converged individual colors may appear adjacent to some or all of the lines. Contact your Christie accredited service technician to correct DMD convergence issues. Color correction The D4K2560 provides predefined and custom co lor adjustments using the Color Correction menu. The available color adjustment controls are listed in the table below: Adjust color by temperature 1. On the touch panel controller, tap Menu > Configuration > Color Correction > Select Color Adjustment . 2. From the list, select Color Temperature . 3. Tap Color Temperature . 4. Adjust the temperature value and tap OK. MenuDescription Max Drives Turns off all color adjustments allowing the projector to run at maximum brightness. Color Temperature Allows the specification of a color temperature as expressed in degrees Kelvin. Standard settings are: • 9300K—Close to the white of many computer monitors. • 6500K—Standard for color video in both standard and HD formats. • 5400K—Standard for graphics and black and white video. • 3200K—Useful if the projected image is to be filtered, or shot as part of a studio set illuminated with incandescent lighting. HD Video Sets the output color va lue to the HD video standard. Custom Allows custom color adjustments to be made by the projector operator. i Color temperature adjusts the overall color gamut and does not allow for precise adjustments of specific primary colors.
