(The AC Power Cord is unplugged.) The projector is READY to be turned on with the POWER ON- OFF button. The Warning Temp. Indicator flashes red to let you know the internal temperature of the projector exceeds the normal level. If the temperature goes up further, the projector will be turned off automatically and the Ready indicator will go out. When the pro- jector is cooled down enough and the temperature returns to nor- mal, the READY indicator lights green and the projector can be turned on. (The WARNING TEMP. indicator keeps flashing.) Check and clean the Air Filter. Projector Condition The projector is operating normally. The projector is cooled down enough and the temperature returns to normal. When turning on the projector, the WARNING TEMP. indicator stops flashing. Check and clean the Air Filter. LAMP REPLACE yellow Indicators READY green LAMP red WARNING TEMP. red ✽ ✽ ✽ ✽ ✳ Depending on the condition of signals and the type and length of cables,\ these signals may not be properly viewed. ✳ ✳ ✳

54 APPENDIX • • • on • • • dim• • • off• • • flashing ✽ When the life of the projection lamp draws to an end, the LAMP REPLACE i\ ndicator lights yellow. When this indicator lights yel low, replace the projection lamp with a new one promptly. Reset the Lamp Rep\ lace Counter after replacement of the lamp. The projector is being cooled down. It cannot be turned on until the READY indicator lights green. Projector ConditionLAMP REPLACE yellow Indicators READY green LAMP red WARNING TEMP. red The projector detects an abnormal condition and cannot be turned on. Unplug the AC Power Cord and plug it again to turn on the projector. If the projector is turned off again, disconnect the AC Power Cord and contact the dealer or the service center for service and checkup. Do not leave the projector on. It may cause electric shock or a fire hazard. The projector is in the Power management mode. ✽ ✽ ✽ The temperature inside the projector is abnormally high. The lamp cannot light up. (The projector is preparing for stand- by or the projection lamp is being cooled down. The projector cannot be turned on until cooling is completed.) The lamp cannot light up. (The lamp has been cooled down enough and the projector is in stand-by mode and ready to be turned on with the POWER ON-OFF button.) ✽ The life of the projection lamp draws to an end. Replace the lamp and then reset the Lamp time. The indicator will turn off.
