8.1 ACCROCHAGE DU BAC
Soulever le pare-pierres et accrocher correctement le bac(1), comme indiqué sur la figure.
8.2 DEMARRAGE
Accrocher correctement le câble de rallongecomme indiqué.
Pour le démarrage, appuyer sur le bouton de blo-cage (2) et tirer sur le levier (1) de linterrupteur.
8.3 CONSEILS POUR UNE BONNE TONTE
Pendant la tonte, faire en sorte que le câble élec-trique se trouve toujours derrière soi et dans unepartie du terrain déjà tondue.
La pelouse aura un plus bel aspect si elle est tou-jours tondue à la même hauteur et dans les deuxsens perpendiculaires alternativement.
NOTE IMPORTANTE- Si le moteur s’arrête àcause de surchauffe durant son fonctionnement,il est nécessaire d’attendre au moins 5 minutesavant un nouvel essai.
8.4 FIN DU TRAVAIL
Lorsque le travail est terminé, relâcher lelevier (1). 
Débrancher D’ABORD la rallonge électriquede la prise de secteur (2) et ENSUITE du côtédu contacteur de la tondeuse (3). 
ATTENDRE L’ARRÊT DE LA LAME avant d’ef-fectuer toute intervention sur la tondeuse.

IMPORTANT – Il est indispensable d’effectuer des opérations d’entretien régulières etsoignées pour maintenir pendant longtemps les niveaux de sécurité et les perfor-mances originelles de la machine.Garder la tondeuse dans un endroit sec.
1) Porter des gants de travail résistants avant deffectuer toute intervention de nettoyage,dentretien ou bien de réglage sur la machine.2) Après chaque coupe, enlever les détritus de gazon et la boue qui se sont accumulés àl’intérieur du châssis, pour éviter qu’en séchant ils ne rendent le prochain démarrageparticulièrement difficile.3) Toujours s’assurer que les prises d’air sont dégagées de tout résidu.
9.1 DEMONTAGE ET MONTAGE DE LA LAME
Toutes les opérations sur la lame doi-vent être exécutées dans un centre spé-cialisé.
Remarque pour le centre spécialisé:Remonter la lame (2) en respectant l’or-dre illustré sur la figure ; veiller à serrerla vis centrale (1) avec une clé dynamo-métrique tarée à 16 - 20 Nm.
9.2 NETTOYAGE DE LA TONDEUSE
Ne pas l’asperger au jet d’eau et éviterde mouiller le moteur et les composantsélectriques.
Ne pas utiliser de solvants ou de liqui-des abrasifs pour le nettoyage du carterde coupe.

– Essayer une prise à ampéragesuffisant.
– Ne pas brancher plusieursappareils sur la même prise enmême temps.
– Débrancher immédiatementvotre tondeuse et contacter leService Après Vente de votremagasin.
– Si oui, affûter la lame ou laremplacer. Vérifier les ailettesqui orientent l’herbe vers lepanier.
– Si non, nettoyer le carter afinde faciliter l’évacuation del’herbe vers le panier.
– Si oui, affûter la lame ou laremplacer.

2) Avoid operating the equipment on wet grass or in therain.3) Never go over the electric cable with the lawnmow-er. While cutting, the cable should always be pulledbehind the lawnmower and always from the area ofgrass already cut. Use the cable clamp as described inthis manual to prevent the cable from disconnecting byaccident. Ensure that it is properly inserted withoutforcing into the power socket.4) Never pull the lawnmower by its power cable or pullthe cable to remove the plug. Do not expose the cableto sources of heat or let it come in contact with oil, sol-vents or sharp objects.5) Always be sure of your footing on slopes.6) Walk, never run and do not allow yourself to bepulled along by the lawnmower.7) Mow across the face of slopes, never up and down.8) Exercise extreme caution when changing directionon slopes.9) Do not mow on slopes that are too steep.10) Exercise extreme caution when pulling the lawn-mower towards you.11) Stop the blade if the lawnmower has to be tilted fortransportation when crossing surfaces other thangrass, and when transporting the lawnmower to andfrom the area to be mowed.12) Never operate the lawnmower with defectiveguards, or without safety devices, such as the stone-guard and/or grass-catchers, in place.13) On power-driven models, disengage the driveclutch before starting the engine.14) Start the engine carefully, following the instructionsand keeping feet well away from the blade. 15) Do not tilt the lawnmower when switching on theengine unless it is strictly necessary for start-up. In thiscase, do not tilt it more than is strictly necessary andonly lift the part furthest away from the operator. Checkthat both hands are positioned correctly before lower-ing the lawnmower.16) Do not put hands or feet near or under rotatingparts. Keep clear of the discharge opening at all times.17) Never pick up or carry a lawnmower while theengine is running.18) Stop the engine and disconnect the power supplycable:– before carrying out any work underneath the cuttingdeck or before unclogging the chute;– before checking, cleaning or working on lawnmower;– after striking a foreign object. Inspect the lawnmow-er for damage and make repairs before restarting andoperating the lawnmower;– if the lawnmower starts to vibrate abnormally, findand remove the cause of the vibration immediately;– whenever you leave the lawnmower unattended.– when transporting the equipment.19) Stop the engine:– every time you remove or replace the grass-catcher.– before adjusting the grass cutting height.20) When mowing, always keep to a safe distance fromthe rotating blade. This distance is the length of thehandle.
D) MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
1) Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure theequipment is in safe working condition. Regular main-tenance is essential for safety and performance.2) To reduce the fire hazard, keep the lawnmower,especially the engine, free of grass, leaves, or exces-

A) TRAINING
1) Read the instructions carefully. Get familiar with thecontrols and the proper use of the equipment. Learnhow to stop the engine quickly.2) Only use the lawnmower for the purpose for which itwas designed, i.e. for cutting and collecting grass. Anyother use can be hazardous, causing injury or damageto people and/or property.3) Never allow children or people unfamiliar with theseinstructions to use the lawnmower. Local regulationsmay restrict the age of the operator.4) Never use the lawnmower:– When people, especially children, or pets are nearby;– If the operator has taken medicine or substances thatcan affect his ability to react and concentrate.5) Remember that the operator or user is responsiblefor accidents or hazards occurring to other people ortheir property.
B) PREPARATION
1) While mowing, always wear sturdy footwear andlong trousers. Do not operate the equipment whenbarefoot or wearing open sandals.2) Thoroughly inspect the area where the equipment isto be used and remove all objects which may bethrown by the machine or damage the cutter assemblyand the engine (stones, sticks, metal wire, bones, etc.).3) Before use, always inspect the machine, especiallythe condition of the blades, and check that the screwsand cutting assembly are not worn or damaged.Replace worn or damaged blades and screws in setsto preserve balance.4) Before mowing, attach the discharge openingguards (grass-catcher or stone-guard).5) WARNING: DANGER! Damp and electricity do notgo together:– cables must be handled and wired when dry– never allow contact between an electric socket orcable with a wet area (puddles or damp grass);– connections between cables and sockets must be ofthe waterproof type. Only use extension cables withmoulded-on waterproof or approved sockets availablecommercially.– power the machine using a residual current device(RCD Residual Current Device) with max. 30 mA trip-ping current.6) The power supply cables must not be of lower qual-ity than the H05RN-F or H05VV-F type with minimumcross-section size of 1.5 mm2 and max. 25 m long.7) Attach the cable onto the cable clamp before start-ing the machine.8) The permanent wiring of any electrical device to themains must be carried out by a qualified electrician, inaccordance with electrical regulations in force.Incorrect wiring may cause severe injury or death.
C) OPERATION 
1) Mow only in daylight or good artificial light.

Do not leave containers with grass cut-tings in rooms.3) Check the stone-guard and grass-catcher frequent-ly for wear and deterioration.4) Periodically check the electric cables and replacethem if they are damaged or if the insulation has beendamaged. Never touch a badly insulated cable if it stillconnected to the power supply. Remove the cablefrom the socket before taking any action.5) Wear strong work gloves when removing andreassembling the blade.6) Keep the blade balanced during sharpening. Alloperations on the blade (dismantling, sharpening, bal-ancing, remounting and/or replacing) require a certainfamiliarity and special tools. For safety reasons, thesejobs are best carried out at a specialized centre.7) For reasons of safety, do not use the equipment withworn cables or damaged parts. Parts are to be replac-ed and not repaired. Use genuine spare parts (blades
should always bear the symbol  ). Parts that are notof the same quality can damage the equipment and bedangerous for your safety.
E) TRANSPORTATION AND HANDLING
1) Whenever the machine is to be handled, raised,transported or tilted you must:– wear strong working gloves;– grasp the machine at the points that offer a safe grip,taking account of the weight and its distribution.– use an appropriate number of people for the weightof the machine and the characteristics of the vehicle orthe place where it has to be placed or collected.

6.1 HANDLE ASSEMBLY
Move the upper part of the handle (1) already pre-assembled, in the work position and blockit in place using the handles (2). 
The washers (3) on the handles (2 ) must be mounted so they keep the top part (1) firmly fixedto the two lower sections of the handle  (4 and 5), without too much effort required to tight-en or release them.
Loosen the knobs (6) to ad just the height of the handle, when the desired height has beenreached, firmly tighten the knobs (6) again.
Fix the electrical cable in place using the clamps ( 7 if foreseen), so that the height of thehandle can be regulated without excessively tightening the cable.
The correct position of the electric cable hook (8) is as shown.
