Memory Card Information
Images recorded on a memory card with this camcorder can be transferred \
to a
computer using the following products for SD Memory Cards or MultiMediaC\
ards:
PC Card Adapter: An adapter to insert a memory card into the card slot on thecomputer.
USB Reader/Writer: Connects to the USB port of a computer for direct access to the memory card.

for the personal use with this camcorder. Do not use these sample images for
other purposes.
If you have mistakenly erased the Card Mix sample images on the supplied SD

Screen Displays
LCD Screen Displays
You can hide the displays on the LCD screen to have a clear screen for pl\
ayback.
Open the menu and select [DISPLAY SET UP]. Select [DISPLAYS], set it to
[OFF ] and close the menu.
• The LCD screen will become completely blank (also the TV screen if connected).
• Warning messages still appear, and the data code appears if turned on.
• Tape operation displays appear for 2 seconds.
• Displays cannot be hidden on the index screen.

Message Explanation
You have not set the time zone, date and time. This message 
appears each time you turn the power on until you set the 
time zone, date and time.
Battery pack is exhausted. Replace or charge the battery 
pack.
Cassette is protected. Replace the cassette or change the
