Turning	On	the	Projector
Connect  the  projector ’s  AC  power  cord  into  an AC outlet. The POWER indicator lights red. Open OpenOpen the lens cap.
Press  the  POWER  button  on  the  top  control  or on the remote control unit. The POWER indicator lights green and the cooling fans start to operate. The  preparation  display  appears  on  the  screen and the countdown starts.

What	is	PIN	code?
PIN  (Personal  Identification  Number)  code  is  a  security code  that  allows  the  person  who  knows  it  to  operate  the projector.  Setting  a  PIN  code  prevents  unauthorized  use of the projector.
A  PIN  code  consists  of  a  four-digit  number.  Refer  to  the PIN  code  lock  function  in  the  Setting  Menu  on  pages 60-61 for locking operation of the projector with your PIN code.

How	to	Operate	the	On-Screen	Menu
The projector can be adjusted or set via the On-Screen Menu.  The  menus  have  a  hierarchical  structure,  with a  main  menu  that  is  divided  into  submenus,  which are  further  divided  into  other  submenus.  For  each adjustment  and  setting  procedure,  refer  to  respective sections in this manual.

Rotate the Zoom Ring to zoom in and out.  Rotate the Focus Ring to adjust the focus of the image.

If  a  projected  picture  still  has  keystone  distortion  after pressing  the  AUTO  SET  button  on  the  top  control  or the  remote  control  unit,  correct  the  image  manually  as follows:

Press the MENU button to display the On-Screen Menu. Use the Point ▲▼ buttons to select Sound. Press the Point ► or the OK button to access the submenu items. 
Press the VOLUME+/– buttons on the top control or on the remote control unit to adjust the volume. The volume dialog box appears on the screen for a few seconds.
