    Appendix
    	No	image – Check the connection between your computer or video               equipment and the projector. See pages 17-19.    – See if the input signal is correctly output from your computer.            Some laptop computers may need to change the setting for                                                                monitor output when connect\
    ing to a projector. See your            computer’s instruction manual for the setting.     – It takes about 30 seconds to display an image after turning on            the projector. See page 21.  –  Check the Input signal, color system, video system or computer system mode.    – Make sure the temperature is not out of the specified Operating         Temperature (41˚F–95˚F [5˚C–35˚C]).   – When Blank is operating, the image cannot be displayed.     	 PIN	code	dialog	box	appears  – PIN code lock is being set. Enter a PIN code (the “1234” or \

    	 The	Remote	control	unit	does – Check the batteries.  not	work.  – Make sure no obstruction is between the projector and remote      control.     – Make sure you are not too far from the projector when using the       remote control unit. Maximum operating range is 16.4'(5 m).                      – Make sure the code of the remote control unit is conformed to       the projector’s code.      Indicator	blinks	or	lights.	– Check the status of the projector with referring to "Indicators       and projector Condition". See page 75.

    	 Top	control	does	not	work.									– The top control is not available if the top control is locked at       Key	lock under Security of Setting section. See page 60.
        – The projector detects an abnormal condition. Unplug the AC      power cord and contact the dealer where you purchased the       projector or the service center. 
    WARNING	:High	voltages	are	used	to	operate	this	projector.	Do	not	attempt	to	open	the	cabinet.
    If problems still persist after following all operating instructions, co\
    ntact the dealer where you purchased the projector or the service center. Specify the model number and explain about the problem. We will advise you how to obtain service.

    Check the indicators for projector condition.

     When the projection lamp reaches its end of life, the LAMP REPLACE indicator lights yellow.      When this indicator lights yellow, replace the projection lamp with a new one promptly. (pp. 62,68)

    The projector is off. (The AC power cord is unplugged.)
    The projector is in stand-by mode. Press the POWER button to turn on the projector.
    The projector is operating normally. 
    The projector is preparing for stand-by or the projection lamp is being cooled down. The projector cannot be turned on until cooling is completed and the POWER indicator stops blinking.
    The projector is in the Power management mode. The lamp lights up when operating the projector, and the projector begins to work.
    The temperature inside the projector is abnormally high. The projector cannot be turned on. When the projector is cooled down enough and the temperature returns to normal, the POWER indicator stops blinking and the projector can be turned on. (The WARNING indicator keeps blinking.) 
    The projector has been cooled down enough and the temperature returns to normal. When turning on the projector, the WARNING indicator stops blinking. Please check the Air filter.
    The projector detects an abnormal condition and cannot be turned on. Unplug the AC power cord and plug it again to turn on the projector. If the projector is turned off again, unplug the AC power cord and contact the dealer or the service center for service and checkup. Do not leave the projector on. It may cause an electric shock or a fire hazard.
    Reaches recommended replacement time.The icon       appearing on the top right corner of the image indicates the replacement of the lamp.Please replace the lamp as soon as possible. The time before the LAMP REPLACE indicator lighting up, depends on the operating conditions (the state of the lamp mode).

    Note:
    • The specifications are subject to change without notice.• Depending on your PC settings, the digital signals of your PC may not be projected correctly. In such a case,  confirm your PC settings.• When you project a DVI signal, connect the cables, turn the projector on, then select the input.  Finally, turn on your PC. Be sure to follow this procedure, otherwise an image \
    may not be projected on the  screen. If an image is not projected correctly, restart your PC.• Do not disconnect the cable while the projector is running. If the cable has been disconnected and then  reconnected, an image may not be correctly projected.

    Attaching	the	Filter	Cover	to	the	Projector
    The supplied filter cover is designed forpreventing dust accumulation on the filterwhen mounting the projector on the ceiling.
    Place the filter cover on the filter as thepicture shown below.
    Turn over the projector.1

    Attach the projector to the ceiling mountin accordance with the instruction manualswhich come with the ceiling mount.

    Note: • To keep the filter cover in position, be sure to attach the drop-prevention wire by threading it through the hole of the filter cover.  •  If the LV-CL17 Projector Attachment is applied, the supplied filter cover is unnecessary.Front feet
