    Selecting the screen color when no 
    signal is received

    Background Color
    This function allows you to select the color of 
    the screen displayed when PC/Component, 
    HDMI, or Video is selected but no input signal 
    is detected. 
    Selecting the screen color when the 
    blank is set

    Blank Color 
    This function allows you to select the color of 
    the screen displayed when you press the 
    BLANK button on the remote control to hide 
    the image. 
    BlackDisplays a black screen when 
    no signal is being received.
    BlueDisplays a blue screen when 
    no signal is being received.BlackDisplays a black screen when 
    Blank is set.
    BlueDisplays a blue screen when

    Selecting the screen displayed when the

    Screen
    This function allows you to select the splash 
    screen displayed when the projector is turned 
    on. 
    Using the projector at high altitudes
    Home screen > Setup > Advanced > High 
    Altitude Mode 
    Set this function to On to maintain optimum 
    system performance when using the projector 
    at an altitude of 1500 m to 3000 m within a 
    temperature range of 0°C to 30°C. 
     
    • Set High Altitude Mode to Off when 
    using the projector at an altitude of 0 m to 
    1499 m within a temperature range of 0°C 
    to 40°C.
    • If High Altitude Mode is set to On, the 
    cooling fan speeds up which increases the 
    operating noise, and the amount of power 
    consumed also increases.
    LogoDisplays the Canon logo.
    BlackDisplays a black screen.
    BlueDisplays a blue screen.OffWhen using at an altitude of 
    0 m to 1499 m within a 
    temperature range of 0°C to 
    40°C.
    OnWhen using at an altitude of 
    1500 m to 3000 m within a 
    temperature range of 0°C to

    Inverting the projected image 
    Home screen > Setup > Advanced > 
    Projector Position
    This function allows you to invert the 
    projected image so that the image looks correct 
    when the projector is suspended from a ceiling 
    or when projecting from behind the screen. 
    Setting the menu display time
    Home screen > Setup > Advanced > Menu 
    Display Time
    If you do not perform any operations on the 
    OSD, the menu disappears automatically.
    This function allows you to set the time before 
    the OSD disappears.
    Front TableNormal projection.
    Rear TableSelect when projecting from 
    behind the screen.
    Reverses the image from left 
    to right.
    Rear CeilingSelect when the projector is 
    suspended upside down from 
    the ceiling behind the screen.

    Enabling closed captions

    Caption Enable
    This function allows you to display closed 
    captions when they are available with the input 
    signal.
    * Closed captioning displays TV program or 
    movie conversations, narrations, sound 
    effects, etc. as text on the screen. (When 
    available for TV programs, CC is usually 
    displayed on the screen.) 
    Selecting the closed caption channel

    Caption Channel
    This function allows you to select the closed 
    caption channel. 
    OffDo not used closed 
    captioning.
    OnWhen closed captioning is 
    available, text is displayed on 
    the screen.

    This function allows you to return the Setup 
    menu/OSD settings to their defaults (the 
    settings at the time of purchase).
     
     
    • The LED Time, Language, Projector 
    Position, High Altitude Mode settings are 
    not returned to their defaults.
    • See P101 for the default settings. 
    Setting the video file playback range 
    Home screen > Setup > Videos Settings > 
    Play Mode
    This function allows you to set the range of 
    video files to play.
    YesReturns the settings to their 
    defaults.
    NoDoes not return the settings to 
    their defaults.
    One VideoPlays only the selected video 
    file.
    All Videos in 
    FolderPlays all of the video files in 
    the folder containing the

    This function allows you to select whether 
    video files are played in order of their file

    This function allows you to set whether or not 
    video files are repeated.
     
    •  When set to On, the video files in the range 
    selected in Play Mode are played 
    repeatedly.
    NormalPlays the video files in order 
    of their file names.
    ShuffleShuffles the video file play 
    order.
    OffDoes not repeat the video file.
    OnRepeats the video file.
