Displays 95% (in width and height) of the area displayed for the standard size.

You can specify the scan area by creating a croppin g frame on the image displayed in the Preview area
of the ScanGear (scanner driver) screen. W hen you c lick Scan, only the portion within the cropping frame
will be scanned and passed to the application.

and drag the mouse to move the entire cropping fram e.

In Advanced Mode, you can specify the cropping frame size  by entering the values into W idth and
Height in Input Settings.
Input Settings
You can rotate a cropping frame 90 degrees by click ing  (Switch Aspect Ratio). However, 
(Switch Aspect Ratio) is not available when Output Size is Flexible.

You can create multiple cropping frames and apply different scan settings to each cropping frame.
You can also select multiple cropping frames by clicking th em while pressing the Ctrl key.
If you select multiple cropping frames and change t he settings on a tab at the right of ScanGear (scanner
driver), the settings will be applied to all the select ed cropping frames.
W hen you create a new cropping frame, it retains th e settings of the latest cropping frame.

What is Resolution?
The data in the image you have scanned is a collect ion of dots carrying information about brightness and
color. The density of these dots is called resolution, a nd resolution will determine the amount of detail
your image contains. The unit of resolution is dots per  inch (dpi). Dpi is the number of dots per square
inch (2.54 cm square).
