Both the door lining and the tank lining are in stainless steel; however, should spots
caused by oxidation occur, this is probably due to a high level of iron salts presents
in the water. The spots can be removed with a mild abrasive agent; never use
chlorine based materials, steel wool, etc. WHEN CYCLE IS FINISHEDAfter every wash it is essential to turn off water supply and to switch off the machine
by pressing the On/Off button to the off position. If the machine is not going to be
used for some time, it is advisable to follow these rules:
    1. do an empty wash with detergent in order to clean the machine of any deposits.
    2. pull out the electric plug.
    3. turn off the water tap.
    4. fill the rinse aid container.
    5. Ieave the door ajar.
    6. Keep the inside of the machine clean.
    7. If the machine is left in places where the temperature is below 0°C any water left
inside the pipes may freeze. Wait until the temperature rises above zero and then
wait for about 24 hours before starting up the dishwasher.

    Selecting the programmes
and special functionsUse in conjunction with programme guide
    Setting a programme
Open the door and press the button; the 5
programme selection indicator lights start flashing
to show that the machine is waiting for a selection
    to be made.
Press the Programme Selection Button “P”and
the indicator light for the heavy wash program-
me will start flashing. Set the required programme
by pressing the Programme Selection Button
again. When then light for the required program-
mestarts flashing, close the door and when the
audible signal has sounded (if it has not been
deactivated) the programme will start automati-
    cally.
    Economy button
    E
The “E”button reduces the temperature of the
water during the last rinse. This activates a natural
drying process, as with a normal draining board,
simply by leaving the door ajar at the end of the
cycle to enable the natural circulation of air. The
“E”button provides an energy saving of more
than 20% and shortens the cycle.
Recommended for evening washes when the
dishes are not required perfectly dry, straight
    away.
    Interrupting a programme
It is not recommended that the door be opened
while a programme is running, and especially
not during the main wash phase and final
    drying.
    However, the appliance stops automatically
when the door is opened. At this point the “E”
button can be programmed or cancelled.
When the door is closed again, the programme
continues automatically. If you wish to change
or cancel a programme which is running, carry
    out the following procedure:
open the door, keeping the Programme Selection
Button “P” pressed in until all 5 indicator lights
are flashing. A new setting can now be made.
NB:If, on pressing the Programme Selection
Button “P”the indicator lights start flashing
alternately, it means that there is water in the
    machine.
Close the door to allow the water to be discharged
and wait for the audible signal, after which the
new programme can be set. Before starting a new programme, you should
check that there is still detergent in the dispenser.
If necessary, top up the dispenser.
    End of programme
The end of the programme is indicated by an
audible signal. When the door is opened the 5
programme selection indicator lights start flashing.
    Release the button.
    Activating and Deactivating the audible
    signal
The audible signal function can be deactivated
    in the following way:
keep the Programme Selection Button “P”
pressed in for a few seconds and at the same
time press the On/Off button; if the three indicator
    lights “Intensive programme”, “Regular
    programme”and “R 32’ Rapid programme”
are illuminated, the audible signal is activated.
By pressing the Programme Selection Button “P”
    again, the “Normal programme”and “Eco
programme”lights will come on, which means
that the audible signal has been deactivated.
An audible signal sounds to indicate that the
    setting has been stored inmemory.
    Attention
This dishwasher is equipped with an anti-overflow
safety device which works even when power is
switched off and and if the water level is too high
the supply will automatically be closed off.
    Important
To ensure the correct operation of the anti-overflow
safety device, it is recommended not to move or
to tilt the dishwasher during operation.
If it is necessary to move or to tilt the dishwasher,
first make sure the washing cycle is finished and
that no water is left in the tank.

The main inlet pipe is contained within a protective transparent
hose. In the event of damage occurring to the main inlet pipe any
water leakage is retained within the transparent hose.
If water has leaked from the main inlet pipe there will be a visible
    sign within the transparent hose.
You may continue to complete the programme cycle but for safety
we recommend the immediate replacement of the complete hose
    assembly.
If the hose is not long enough for correct connection, it must be
    replaced with a longer one.
The hose can be obtained from a Service Centre.

27 N.B.: Should any of the situations occur and should the machine give a bad washing performance,
it is necessary to remove the deposits from the dishes by hand since the final drying cycle hardens the
deposits which a second wash in the machine would not be able to remove.
If the malfunction continues contact a Service Centre quoting the serial number of the dishwasher.
This is found on the plaque on the inside of the dishwasher door at the top or on the guarantee.
This information will make it possible to take more effective action more quickly.
