When you want to buy toner cartridges, call the dealer you bought the printer from or Brother Customer Service. • We recommend that you clean the printer when you replace the toner cartridge. Handle the toner cartridge carefully. If toner scatters on your hands or clothes, wipe or wash it off with cold water at once. If toner cartridges are left unpacked for a long time the toner life will be shortened. If an unpacked drum unit is put in direct sunlight or room light, the unit may be damaged. If you put it in properly, the lock lever will lift automatically. CAUTION Make sure that you put in the toner cartridge properly or it may separate from the drum unit. gClean the primary corona wire inside the drum unit by gently sliding the blue tab from right to left and left to right several times. Note • There are many factors that determine the actual drum life, such as the temperature, humidity, type of paper, type of toner used, number of pages per print job and so on. Under ideal conditions, the average drum life is estimated at approximately 25,000 pages. The actual number of pages that your drum will print may be significantly less than this estimate....
