    							Typing on the BlackBerry KeyboardLearn how to use accented and uppercase letters, symbols, and numbers on your keyboard.
    Type an accented character The list of available accents depends on the active input language. If you set multiple input languages, the accents for the
    languages that can be predicted together appear for a letter. For example, when English, French, and German are set, because their alphabets are similar, you get accent options for all three languages.
    1. On the BlackBerry Keyboard, touch and hold the letter that you want to add the accent to. 2. When accented characters appear above the letter, slide your 
    finger onto the accented character that you want to
    type.
    3. Lift your 
    finger.
    Tip:  To type an uppercase accented character, tap  first. Or, when your finger is on the accented character that you
    want to type, if you pause before you lift your 
    finger the accented character changes to uppercase.
    Type a symbol or number
    1.On the lower-left side of the BlackBerry Keyboard, tap the  key. The appearance of this key varies depending
    on the language that you

    Type faster with automated assistance settings
    You can change your typing settings to help you type faster on your BlackBerry Keyboard. Keyboard feedback provides an
    audible indication of your typing progress or when a misspelled word is corrected. In addition, you can change your settings
    so that your device automatically capitalizes new sentences, or so that tapping the 
     key twice inserts a period.

    Change where word suggestions appear
    By default, word suggestions appear on the BlackBerry Keyboard so that you don
    						
    							Change spell check settingsYou can change spell check settings, such as whether to check the spelling of acronyms, whether to correct the casing ofwords, and so on.
    1. On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Tap   Settings  > Language and Input  > Spell Check .
    3. Tap the settings that you want to change.
    Edit your personal dictionary When you use spell check you can add words that are marked as incorrect to a custom dictionary on your BlackBerry
    device so that spell check recognizes them as being correct. The words that you add to your personal dictionary can be
    edited at any time.
    1. On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2. Tap 
     Settings  > Language and Input  > Spell Check  > Edit Personal Dictionary .

    Clear the learned words list
    The BlackBerry Keyboard learns words and phrasing based on your usage to predict the next word you write. You can clear the word list used for word suggestions with the following steps:
    1. On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Tap   Settings  > Language and Input  > Prediction and Correction .
    3. Tap Clear Learned Words .
    Note: As you continue to type, the learned word list is regenerated unless you set the  Learn New Words switch to O
    						
    							To show the Keyboard, disconnect the other input device and try again.
    Language
    If you speak more than one language, you can use the language settings to change your display, typing, voice input, or BlackBerry Keyboard language. You can also switch to another typing language while you type.
    Change your display languageThe language you selected during the initial setup of your BlackBerry device is your display language. The home screen,BlackBerry Hub, and supported applications display content in this language.
    1. On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.2.Tap   Settings  > Language and Input .
    3. In the Language drop-down list, tap the language that you want to use.

    							Select an alternate keyboard layoutSome languages have more than one keyboard layout option. For those languages, you can select the keyboard layout thatfeels most natural for you to use. The QWERTY keyboard layout is available as an option for all languages.
