    							Select a suggested word
    To use a word that appears on the BlackBerry Keyboard, place your finger just below the word and flick it up onto the 
    screen.
    Change where word suggestions appear
    By default, word suggestions appear on the BlackBerry Keyboard so that you don
    						
    							Change spell check settings
    You can change spell check settings, such as whether to check the spelling of acronyms, whether to correct the casing of words, and so on.
    1.On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Tap  Settings > Language and Input > Spell Check. 
    3.Tap the settings that you want to change.
    Edit your personal dictionary
    When you use spell check you can add words that are marked as incorrect to a custom dictionary on your BlackBerry 
    device so that spell check recognizes them as being correct. The words that you add to your personal dictionary can be 
    edited at any time.
    1.On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Tap  Settings > Language and Input > Spell Check > Edit Personal Dictionary.

    Clear the learned words list
    The BlackBerry Keyboard learns words and phrasing based on your usage to predict the next word you write. You can clear 
    the word list used for word suggestions with the following steps:
    1.On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Tap  Settings > Language and Input > Prediction and Correction. 
    3.Tap Clear Learned Words.
    Note: As you continue to type, the learned word list is regenerated unless you set the Learn New Words switch to Off on 
    the 
    Prediction and Correction screen.
    Change or delete a text shortcut
    1.On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Tap  Settings > Language and Input > Prediction and Correction > Word Substitution. 
    3.In the Substitution List section, tap a word substitution entry.
    Typing using voice dictation
    You can use voice dictation to type hands-free instead of using your keyboard.
    1.To turn on voice dictation, on the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Tap  Settings > Language and Input.
    3.Tap Voice Dictation.
    4.Turn on the Dictation switch .
    5.In the Language drop-down list, tap the language you want to use.
    6.To begin voice dictation, when your keyboard appears, tap .

    Language
    If you speak more than one language, you can use the language settings to change your display, typing, voice input, or 
    BlackBerry Keyboard language. You can also switch to another typing language while you type.
    Change your display language
    The language you selected during the initial setup of your BlackBerry device is your display language. The home screen, 
    BlackBerry Hub, and supported applications display content in this language.
    1.On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Tap  Settings > Language and Input.
    3.In the Language drop-down list, tap the language that you want to use.

    							Select an alternate keyboard layout
    Some languages have more than one keyboard layout option. For those languages, you can select the keyboard layout that feels most natural for you to use. The QWERTY keyboard layout is available as an option for all languages.
    1.On the Input Language screen, tap one of the enabled languages that you have already selected.
    2.If more than one option exists, in the drop-down list, tap a layout.
    3.If you want the layout you

    Typing in other languages
    You can set your BlackBerry device to recognize three different input languages when you type. As you type, your device 
    makes predictions based on each of the language families. For example, if you use a Latin-based display language, 
    predictions appear for any of the configured Latin-based languages. Similarly, if your display language is Korean, it will not 
    display Arabic or Latin-based suggestions. When you set more than one typing language, you may need to consider the 
    following:
    
    						
    							Single key press + key pressKey press and hold
    						
    							for Chinese characters. When typing in Pinyin on a non-Chinese keyboard, you can use the phonetic sound of a character 
    to get Chinese diacritics to appear as word predictions.
