    							Restore your device to its factory default settings using 
    BlackBerry Link
    If you restore your BlackBerry 10 device to its default settings, BlackBerry Link deletes all of the data and third-party 
    applications from your device. Any IT policies that are applied to your device are also deleted. After you restore your device  to its default settings, you can run the setup application on your device to set up the device again.
    Before you begin, you should back up your data so that you have a copy of the data on your computer.
    CAUTION: You can
    						
    							To wake up your device, swipe up from the bottom of the device screen.
    Restart or reset your device
    If your BlackBerry device is running slower than usual or not responding, turning off and turning back on your device might 
    help to solve the problem.
    Do one of the following:
    
    						
    							Keeping your battery charged
    Your BlackBerry device uses a lithium-ion battery. To maximize your use of this type of battery, when possible, do the 
    following:
    
    						
    							Tip: To quickly check the percentage of battery power remaining, from the bottom of the screen, slide your finger up to the 
    middle of the screen. The battery percentage appears in the upper-left corner of the screen.
    Monitor the battery life, memory usage, CPU usage, 
    and storage space on your device
    You can check how much battery time and power you have remaining, how much device memory is being used, and how  much storage space is available. You can also monitor which apps and services are using the most battery power, device memory, storage space, or CPU resources, and you can close or delete some apps to help save battery power or improve 
    the device performance.
    1.On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Tap  Settings > App Manager > Device Monitor.3.To monitor different types of device statistics, tap .
    4.Tap a type of statistics.
    Tip: On the Battery and CPU screens, you can view device and usage statistics from different time frames. To change the 
    time frame for the statistics on the Battery or CPU screens, at the top of the screen, tap 
    . Tap a time frame.
    View battery and usage stats for a specific app or service
    1.On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Tap  Settings > App Manager > Device Monitor.
    3.Tap an app or service.
    Close or delete apps from the Device Monitor screen
    If you notice that an open app is using a lot of battery power, device memory, or CPU resources, you can close it and end all 
    processes associated with the app. You can also delete some apps permanently from the Device Monitor screen. Some  apps must be installed and open at all times, so they can
    						
    							LED and battery notifications
     
     
    A solid red LED can indicate that your BlackBerry device is turning on or restarting.
     
     
    A flashing yellow LED can indicate that the battery power level is low and your device is charging.
     
     
    A solid green LED can indicate that your device is plugged into a charger and that charging is complete.
    Using Battery Saving Mode
    If your battery power level is draining, you can set up Battery Saving Mode to turn on automatically and help make your battery last longer when you need it most! When Battery Saving Mode is turned on, your device automatically adjusts various settings to help save battery power. If you need to save more battery power, you can also adjust additional settings. 
    For example, you can choose to turn off data services or location services to save more battery power.
    By default, Battery Saving Mode turns on automatically when your battery power level is 20% or lower. You can also turn on 
    Battery Saving Mode manually at any time.
    Change your Battery Saving Mode settings
    You can change when Battery Saving Mode turns on automatically, and choose some of the settings that are adjusted when 
    Battery Saving Mode turns on.
    1.On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
