•This Can Opener should not be used to open cans that are designed to be opened by anoth- er method, such as a pull tab, ring opener, pull strip, peel-off foil seal, or rolling key (i.e. *Spam ®, **Crisco®, sardines, etc.). This Can Opener will not open rimless cans. •If there is a bump or dent in the rim of the can, open the other end or start the cutting action just beyond the dent. Cans with heavy seams, uneven rims or odd shapes may cause the Can Opener to stall. If this occurs, turn the can slightly...

6. The Grinding Wheel is specially designed to prevent “burning” of the knife blade. If the Wheel stalls or stops, the blade is being pressed too hard against the Wheel. 7. Both the Can Opener and the Knife Sharpener are intend- ed for household use only. Do not use the Sharpener for more than 5 minutes at one time. Allow it to cool at least 15 minutes after sharpening knives before using again. This will prevent motor burnout due to overheating. Other than the cleaning described in this Use and Care...
