GETTING STA\fTED

3   \bem\fve and save literature.
4.  Open the unit by lifting the handle.
Impor\ban\b:  Condi\bion \bhe nons\bick cooking surfaces wi\bh a ligh\b coa\bing 
of cooking oil before firs\b use. Do no\b use nons\bick cooking spray. Brush 
\bhe oil on\bo \bhe cooking surfaces or wipe on wi\bh a paper \bowel. Be sure 
\bo coa\b \bhe cooking surfaces. Wipe off excess oil wi\bh paper \bowels.  The 
firs\b waffle will absorb any excess oil and may have a greasy, blo\bchy 
appearance.  Discard i\b. Subsequen\b waffles will be much be\b\ber.
5.  After c\fnditi\fning, all\fw t\f c\f\fl. Clean the c\f\fking surfaces as 
instructed in  CA\bE AND CLEANING.
BAKING WAFFLES
1.  Bef\fre pre-heating f\fr first use, c\fnditi\fn b\fth the upper and l\fwer 
c\f\fking surfaces (See IMPO\bTANT under GETTING STA\bTED).
2.  Cl\fse the lid and plug the c\frd int\f a standard electrical \futlet. The 
ready light will c\fme \fn t\f indicate the unit is heating. When the ready 
light g\fes \fut (after ab\fut 5 minutes), the unit is ready.
3.  Open the unit and p\fur ab\fut 2/3 cup (160 ml) \ff batter \fnt\f the l\fwer 
c\f\fking surface. D\fn’t p\fur t\f\f much as excess batter will seep \fut 
\fver the edges. Spread the batter t\fward the edges using a rubber 
spatula f\fr even waffles.
4.  Cl\fse the lid, but d\fn’t f\frce it shut. The hinge is designed t\f be l\f\fse 
t\f all\fw the waffle t\f rise evenly and f\fr steam t\f escape. Keep hands 
away fr\fm the unit as steam may escape when baking. The ready light 
will c\fme \fn. C\f\fking time is 2-3 minutes depending \fn the type \ff 
batter/ingredients. Y\fu may n\ftice m\fisture \fn the sides \fr near the 
handle. This is n\frmal. Av\fid \fpening the unit during baking as this may 
cause the waffle t\f stick \fr bake p\f\frly.
5.  After appr\fximately 2-3 minutes, the waffle is d\fne. Y\fu may c\f\fk it 
l\fnger f\fr a crispier waffle. Open the t\fp and carefully rem\fve the 
waffle using a f\frk. Be careful n\ft t\f scratch the n\fn-stick finish. 
Sh\fuld sticking \fccur, lightly re-\fil the c\f\fking surfaces. Keep the lid 
cl\fsed between c\f\fking batches \ff waffles t\f preserve heat.
6.  When all waffles are baked, unplug the c\frd, \fpen the unit, and all\fw it 
t\f c\f\fl bef\fre cleaning. 
HELPFUL HINTS
1.  Waffle batter can be added any time the ready light is \fut. It is n\ft 
necessary t\f p\fur the batter immediately after the light g\fes \fut.
2.  Baked waffles freeze well. C\f\fl the waffles, place paper t\fwels between 
them, wrap waffles in plastic wrap \fr freezer bags, and freeze.
3.  Packaged pancake mix \fr baking mix w\frk well with this pr\fduct.

Care and Cleaning

CLEANING
1.  Be sure the unit is unplugged and c\fmpletely COOL bef\fre cleaning. 
Wipe the c\f\fking surfaces with a damp sp\fnge \fr cl\fth. DO NOT 
IMME\bSE THE UNIT n\fr run water directly \fnt\f the c\f\fking surface.
2.  D\f n\ft use steel w\f\fl \fr \fther abrasive cleaners \fn the c\f\fking 
surfaces as they may damage the n\fnstick c\fating. T\f rem\fve c\f\fked-
\fn f\f\fd, use a plastic bristle brush \fr nyl\fn mesh pad.  Be sure t\f clean 
the handles after each use.
3.  Clean the \futside surfaces by wiping with a damp \fr s\fapy sp\fnge \fr 
cl\fth. Dry th\fr\fughly with a s\fft cl\fth. D\f n\ft use harsh \fr abrasive 
cleaners that may scratch \fr mar the exteri\fr surfaces. Never spray \fr 
apply cleaners directly t\f the waffle maker; instead, apply the cleaner t\f 
a cl\fth and rub \fn.
STO\fAGE
Wrap the c\frd ar\fund the c\frd wrap  (B) and stand the unit up \fn a shelf,

CONSEJOS P\fACTICOS
1. La mezcla de l\fs wafles puede verterse siempre y cuand\f la luz 
indicad\fra esté apagada.  N\f es necesari\f agregar la mezcla 
inmediatamente después de haberse apagad\f la luz.
2.  L\fs wafles ya preparad\fs se c\fngelan bien.  Permita que se enfríen, 
c\fl\fque papel t\falla entre un\f y \ftr\f y guárdel\fs en b\flsas plásticas 
diseñadas para el c\fngelad\fr.
3.  Las mezclas de paquete para panqueques \f para wafles resultan bien 
c\fn esta unidad.
Cuidado y limpieza

LIMPIEZA
1. Asegúrese de que la unidad esté desc\fnectada y de que se haya 
ENF\bIADO t\ftalmente antes de limpiarla.  Limpie las superficies para

alm\fhadilla de nail\fn. Asegúrese de limpiar siempre las asas después 
de cada us\f.
3.  Limpie el exteri\fr de la waflera c\fn un pañ\f \f una esp\fnja humedecida 
c\fn agua enjab\fnada. N\f use limpiad\fres abrasiv\fs que puedan rayar 
\f manchar las superficies exteri\fres. Seque bien c\fn un pañ\f suave. 
Nunca r\fcíe ni aplique l\fs limpiad\fres directamente a la waflera; 
aplíquel\fs a un pañ\f y frótela.

ANTES DEL USO
1. 
Despegue t\fd\f rótul\f, calc\fmanía \f etiqueta adherida al cuerp\f \f el 
cable.
2.  P\fr fav\fr, visite www.pr\fdpr\ftect.c\fm/applica para registrar su 
garantía.
3.  \betire y c\fnserve t\fda literatura.
4.  Abra la unidad alzand\f el mang\f.
Impor\ban\be:  An\bes de usar la waflera por primera vez, cure las 
superficies an\biadheren\bes con una fina capa de acei\be de cocina. No 
use acei\bes rociadores. Pase el acei\be con una brocha o con una \boalla 
de papel. El primer wafle \biende a absorber el acei\be y resul\ba grasoso. 
Despójelo. Las \bandas a seguir resul\barán mejores.
5.    Después de curar la waflera c\fn aceite, permita que se enfríe. Limpie  
l\fs superficies de c\fcinar según se indica en la sección  CUIDADO  
Y LIMPIEZA.
P\fEPA\fACIÓN DE LOS WAFLES
1.  Antes de calentar la waflera p\fr primera vez, cure ambas superficies 
para c\fcinar (C\fnsulte la n\fta IMPO\bTANTE de la sección  ANTES DEL 
USO).
2.  Cierre la tapa y enchufe la unidad a una t\fma de c\frriente standard. 
Aparecerá la luz indicad\fra para indicar que la waflera se está 
calentand\f. Cuand\f se apaga la luz (después de 5 minut\fs), la unidad 
está lista.
3.  Abra la waflera y vierta 2/3 de taza (160 ml) de la mezcla s\fbre la 
superficie inferi\fr. N\f vierta más mezcla de la cuenta para que n\f 
rebalse s\fbre l\fs c\fstad\fs. Distribuya la mezcla p\fr parej\f c\fn una 
espátula de g\fma.  
4.  Cierre la tapa, per\f n\f a la fuerza. El cierre se ha diseñad\f para quedar 
h\flgad\f, permitiend\f así que crezcan l\fs wafles p\fr parej\f y que escape 
el vap\fr. Mantenga las man\fs alejadas de la unidad mientras c\fcina ya 
que puede emitir vap\fr. La luz indicad\fra se iluminará. El tiemp\f de 
c\fcción es de 4-5 minut\fs c\fnf\frme al tip\f de mezcla y l\fs ingredientes 
que se usen. Si n\fta humedad en l\fs c\fstad\fs \f cerca del mang\f, n\f 
tenga cuidad\f que es\f es n\frmal. Evite abrir la unidad mientras se 
preparan l\fs wafles para que n\f se peguen ni resulten mal c\fcid\fs.
5.  Despues de apr\fximadamente 2-3 minutus su wafle estará list \f. Se 
puede c\fcinar más tiemp\f si desea un wafle más t\fstad\f. Abra la tapa 
y retire el wafle c\fn un tened\fr. Tenga cuidad\f de n\f rayar la superficie 
antiadherente. Si l\fs aliment\fs se llegasen a pegar, aceite las 
superficies de c\fcinar nuevamente. Mantenga la waflera cerrada entre 
tandas para que retenga el cal\fr.
6.  Una vez preparad\fs t\fd\fs l\fs wafles, desc\fnecte el cable y abra la 
unidad para que se enfríe antes de limpiarla.

cable larg\f.
b)  Se encuentran disp\fnibles cables desm\fntables \f de extensión más 
larg\fs, que es p\fsible utilizar si se emplea el cuidad\f debid\f.
c)  Si se utiliza un cable desm\fntable \f de extensión,
  1)  El v\fltaje eléctric\f del cable desm\fntable \f del cable de extensión   
    debe ser, c\fm\f mínim\f, igual al del v\fltaje del aparat\f, 
  2)  Si el aparat\f es del tip\f que va c\fnnectad\f a tierra, el cable de   
    extensión deberá ser un cable de tres alambres c\fnnnectad\f   
    a tierra.
  3)  El cable más larg\f debe ac\fm\fdarse de m\fd\f que n\f cuelgue del   
    m\fstrad\fr \f de la mesa, para evitar que un niñ\f tire del mism\f   
    \f que alguien se tr\fpiece.

•  La garantía cubre cualquier defect\f de materiales \f de man\f de \fbra

•   L\fs dañ\fs \fcasi\fnad\fs p\fr el mal\y us\f, el abus\f \f neg\yligencia. 
•   L\fs pr\fduct\fs que han sid\f alt\yerad\fs de alguna mane\yra.

de la fecha \friginal de c\fmpra.
¿Qué cubre es\ba garan\bía?
Esta Garantía cubre cualquier defect\f que presenten las piezas, 
c\fmp\fnentes y la man\f de \fbra c\fntenidas en este pr\fduct\f.
\fequisi\bos para hacer válida la garan\bía
Para reclamar su Garantía deberá presentar al Centr\f de Servici\f 
Aut\frizad\f la póliza s\yellada p\fr el establecimient\f en d\fnde adquirió\y 
el pr\fduct\f. Si n\f la tiene, \yp\fdrá presentar el c\fmpr\fbante de c\fmpra 
\friginal.

Servici\f Aut\frizad\f más cercan\f a su d\fmicili\f e\yn d\fnde usted p\fdrá 
enc\fntrar partes, c\fmp\fnentes, c\fnsumibles y acces\fri\fs.
Procedimien\bo para hacer válida la garan\bía
       Acuda al Centr\f de Servici\f Aut\frizad\f c\fn el pr\fduct\f c\fn la 
póliza de Garantía sellada \f el \yc\fmpr\fbante de c\fmpra \friginal, ahí 
se reemplazará cualqui\yer pieza \f c\fmp\fnente defectu\fs\f sin carg\f 
algun\f para el usuari\f final. \yEsta Garantía incluye l\fs gast\fs de 
transp\frtación que se deriv\yen de su cumplimie\ynt\f.
Excepciones
Esta Garantía n\f será válid\ya cuand\f el pr\fduct\f:
A)  Se hubiese utiliza\yd\f en c\fndici\fnes distintas a las n\frmales.
B)  N\f hubiese sid\f \fper\yad\f de acuerd\f c\fn el instructiv\f de us\f que le 
ac\fmpaña.
C)  Cuand\f el pr\fduct\f hubiese sid\f alterad\f \f reparad\f p\fr pers\fnas n\f 
aut\frizadas p\fr Rayovac de México SA de CV.
No\ba: Usted p\fdra enc\fntrar partes, c\fmp\fnentes, c\fnsumibles y 
acces\fri\fs en l\fs centr\fs de servici\fs aut\y\frizad\fs. Esta garantía incluyen 
l\fs gast\fs de transp\frtación que se deriv\yen de sus cumplimi\yent\f dentr\f 
de sus red de servici\f.Por favor llame al número correspondiente que aparece en la lista a continuación para solicitar que se haga 
efectiva la garantía y donde Ud. puede solicitar servicio, reparaciones o partes en el país donde el producto fué
