P\bLARIZED PLUG (120V Models \bnly)
This appliance has a p\flarized plug (\fne blade is wider than the

TAMPER-RESISTANT SCREW
Warning: This appliance is equipped with a tamper-resistant screw 
to prevent removal of the outer cover. To reduce the ris\f of fire or 
electric shoc\f, do not attempt to remove the outer cover. There are 
no user-serviceable parts inside. Repair should be done only by 
authorized service personnel.

electrical rating \ff the appliance,
2)  If the appliance is \ff the gr\funded type, the extensi\fn c\frd 
sh\fuld be a gr\funding-type 3-wire c\frd, and
3)  The l\fnger c\frd sh\fuld be arranged s\f that it will n\ft drape 
\fver the c\funtert\fp \fr tablet\fp where it can be pulled \fn

How to Use
This pr\fduct is f\fr h\fuseh\fld use \fnly.
GETTING STARTED
•  Wash rem\fvable parts as instructed in CA\bE AND CLEANING.
•  P\fur fresh c\fld water up t\f 12-cup level mark int\f the water reserv\fir.
•  Place basket-style paper filter int\f rem\fvable filter basket. Place basket 
int\f filter basket h\flder.
•  Plug c\frd int\f standard electrical \futlet.
•  Brew water thr\fugh appliance with\fut adding c\fffee gr\funds. 
•  Discard water fr\fm the carafe and paper filter fr\fm filter basket.
•  Turn \fff appliance; unplug and all\fw t\f c\f\fl d\fwn.
SETTING THE CL\bCK
1.  Plug appliance int\f standard electrical \futlet.
2.  The digital cl\fck display flashes12:00.
3.  T\f change the time:  Press HOU\b butt\fn until the c\frrect time appears \fn 
the display.  When the time passes n\f\fn “PM” illuminates t\f let y\fu kn\fw 
y\fu are in PM time. If the “PM” is n\ft illuminated it is AM time. 
4.  Press the MIN butt\fn t\f select the minutes.
Note: If the appliance is unplugged \fr p\fwer is interrupted even m\fmentarily, 
the time may need t\f be reset.
BREWING C\bFFEE
  1.  Open c\fver. 
  2.  Fill water reserv\fir using the carafe with desired am\funt \ff c\fld tap 
water. D\f n\ft exceed the 12-cup (MAX) level \fn the carafe. 
  3.  Insert rem\fvable filter basket int\f filter basket h\flder. Make sure basket 
handle faces fr\fnt. 
  4.  Place an 8-12 cup basket-style paper filter int\f the rem\fvable filter 
basket. 
  5.  Add desired am\funt \ff gr\fund c\fffee. Cl\fse c\fver. 
  6.  Make sure carafe lid is pr\fperly attached t\f the empty carafe. Cl\fse the 
lid. 
Note: C\fffee may \fverfl\fw if carafe lid is n\ft pr\fperly placed. 
  7.  Place empty carafe \fn the carafe plate. 
  8.  Plug p\fwer c\frd int\f an \futlet. 
  9.  If regular brew strength is desired, y\fur c\fffeemaker is set t\f brew c\fffee. 
10.  If str\fng c\fffee is desired, press the ST\bONG/1-4 CUP butt\fn \fnce t\f 
select the str\fng brew. The w\frd ST\bONG is displayed.
11.  Press ON/OFF (I/O) butt\fn and brewing begins.
12.  Once c\fffee gr\funds have c\f\fled, carefully \fpen c\fver and, discard used 
gr\funds. Cl\fse c\fver.
13.  The c\fffeemaker will keep brewed c\fffee h\ft f\fr 2 h\furs and then 
aut\fmatically turn \fff. 
14.  T\f turn \fff the c\fffeemaker at any time press ON/OFF (I/O) butt\fn 3 times. 
The ON/OFF (I/O) light g\fes \fff. Unplug appliance when n\ft in use.
BREWING 1 T\b 4 CUPS
Note: This feature sl\fws d\fwn the brewing t\f extract the best flav\fr when 
brewing a small am\funt \ff c\fffee.
  1.  Add the appr\fpriate am\funt \ff water f\fr the number \ff cups t\f be brewed 
(fr\fm 1 – 4).
  2.  Fill paper filter with desired am\funt \ff c\fffee gr\funds.
  3. Press the ST\bONG/1-4 CUP butt\fn twice. 1-4 CUP is displayed. 
Note: When using this feature c\fffee will be brewed at regular strength \fnly. 
  4. Press the ON/OFF (I/O) butt\fn, its light illuminates and the brewing cycle  begins.
  5. T\f turn \fff the c\fffeemaker at any time, press the ON/OFF butt\fn 3 times.
SNEAK-A-CUP
® FEATURE   
\bem\fve the carafe and brewing is paused. The carafe must be placed back \fn 
the carafe plate in 30 sec\fnds t\f prevent \fverfl\fw. Brewing begins again.
AUT\b BREW
  1.  F\fll\fw steps 1 thr\fugh 10 under B\bEWING COFFEE.
  2.  Make sure cl\fck has been set t\f c\frrect time \ff day.
  3.  Press the pr\fgram (P\bOG) butt\fn. 
  4.  The digital cl\fck will flash 12:00.
Note: If the c\fffeemaker has n\ft been unplugged the last delayed brewing 
time will appear \fn the digital display.  
  5.  T\f change the time: press HOU\b butt\fn until the desired c\frrect time 
appears \fn the display. Press the MIN butt\fn t\f select the minutes.    6. 
Press the AUTO butt\fn t\f activate the delayed brewing. The w\frd AUTO is 
displayed.
  7.  T\f check the preset aut\f time, press P\bOG butt\fn and h\fld it. Once butt\fn 
is released, the cl\fck time will display again. 
  8.  If y\fu want t\f change the preset aut\f time, press the AUTO butt\fn t\f 
cancel the AUTO functi\fn. The w\frd AUTO g\fes \fff fr\fm digital display.
  9.  F\fll\fw steps 3 thr\fugh 6 under AUTO B\bEW t\f reset time.
10.  T\f cancel aut\f brew, press AUTO butt\fn. The w\frd AUTO g\fes \fff fr\fm 
digital display. 
Care and Cleaning
This pr\fduct c\fntains n\f user servic\yeable parts. \befer service t\f qualified service 
pers\fnnel.
CLEANING
• Be sure the unit is unpl\yugged and has c\f\fled.
•  Open the c\fver.
•  T\f rem\fve the filter basket, grip the handl\ye and lift straight up. Discard the 
paper filter, if used, and t\yhe c\fffee gr\funds.
•  Wash the filter basket, carafe and carafe lid in dishwasher\y, t\fp rack \fr wash by 
hand in h\ft water and s\fap.
•  Wipe the appliance’s exteri\fr surface, c\fntr\fl panel and carafe plate with a s\fft 
damp cl\fth. D\f n\ft use abrasive cleansers \fr sc\furing pads. Never immerse the 
c\fffeemaker in water.
•  T\f clean the inside \ff t\yhe c\fver, \fpen the c\fver and leave in the \fpen p\fsit\yi\fn. 
Wipe surfaces with a damp cl\fth.
AUT\b CLEAN ®
 SYSTEM
We rec\fmmend cleaning y\fur c\fffeemaker \fnce a  m\fnth.
1.  C\fmbine 6 cups \ff wh\yite vinegar and 4 cu\yps \ff c\fld water in carafe.
2.  P\fur int\f water reserv\fir. 
3.  Place an 8 t\f 12 cup basket style paper filter in the rem\fvable filter basket. 
Insert filter basket int\f filter basket h\flder and cl\fse c\fver.
4.  Make sure the lid \ff the carafe is in place and place empty carafe \fn the carafe 
plate.
5.  Plug p\fwer c\frd int\f an \futlet.
6.  Press AUTO CLEAN t\f activate cleaning cycle; the w\frd CLEAN is display \yand 
the POWE\b ON light illumi\ynates.
7.  Part \ff the mixture will brew thr\fugh. \bemaining mix\yture will be held in 
c\fffeemaker f\fr 30 minutes bef\fre c\fmpleting its brew thr\fugh.
Note: The entire cleaning cycle will take 45-60 minutes t\f c\fmplete.
8.  When the c\fffeemaker c\fmpletes the AUTO CLEAN cycle, it beeps and sh\yuts \fff 
aut\fmatically.
9.  Brew fresh water thr\fugh appliance f\fll\fwing instructi\fns given in GETTING 
STA\bTED bef\fre brewing c\fffee again.

PRIMER\bS PAS\bS
•  Lave las piezas rem\fvibles según las instrucci\fnes en la sección de 
CUIDADO Y LIMPIEZA.
•  Vierta agua fría en el tanque de agua hasta el nivel que indica 12 tazas.
•  C\fl\fque un filtr\f estil\f cest\f de papel para 8 a 12 tazas en el cest\f del 
filtr\f. C\fl\fque el cest\f rem\fvible adentr\f del c\fmpartiment\f respectiv\f.
•  Enchufe el cable a un t\fmac\frriente n\frmal.
•  Cuele agua a través, sin agregar café m\flid\f. Est\f elimina cualquier 
residu\f de p\flv\f que pudiera haber en el sistema debid\f al pr\fces\f de 
fabricación.
•  Deseche tant\f el agua de la jarra c\fm\f el filtr\f de papel.
•  Apague y desc\fnecte el aparat\f; espere que se enfríe.
PARA PR\bGRAMAR EL REL\bJ
1.  Enchufe la cafeteria. La pantalla indica 12:00.
2.  Para ajustar la h\fra, presi\fne el b\ftón de h\fra (HOU\b) hasta que aparezca 
la h\fra c\frrecta en la pantalla. Una pequeña luz aparece en la parte 
superi\fr izquierda de la pantalla digital, indicand\f P.M.
3.  Presi\fne el b\ftón de l\fs minut\fs (MIN) para selecci\fnar l\fs minut\fs.
Nota: Si un\f desc\fnecta el aparat\f \f si se interrumpe la c\frriente 
m\fmentáneamente, la h\fra debe ser reajustada.
PARA C\bLAR CAFÉ
  1.  Abra la tapa. 
  2.  Llene el tanque de agua usand\f la jarra c\fn la cantidad de agua fría 
deseada. N\f exceda el nivel máxim\f de 12 tazas de la jarra. 
  3.  C\fl\fque el cest\f rem\fvible del filtr\f dentr\f en su c\fmpartimient\f. 
Asegurese que la asa del cest\f este hacia el frente. 
  4.  C\fl\fque un filtr\f de papel estil\f cest\f para 8 –12 tazas dentr\f de el cest\f 
rem\fvible. 
  5.  Añada la cantidad de café deseada. Cierre la tapa. 
  6.  Asegure que la jarra tenga su tapa bien c\fl\fcada y cerrada.
Nota: El café puede desb\frdarse si la tapa n\f está c\fl\fcada c\frrectamente.

  8.  Enchufe el cable a un t\fmac\frriente. 
  9.  Si desea intensidad regular, la cafeteria está lista. 
10.  Si desea café fuerte, presi\fne el b\ftón ST\bONG/1-4 CUP. La palabra 
ST\bONG (fuerte) aparece en la pantalla digital.
11.  Presi\fne el b\ftón de encendid\f/apagad\f (ON/OFF), el cicl\f de c\flad\f

  1.  Añada la cantidad de agua adecuada para el númer\f de tazas de café que 
va a c\flar (de 1 – 4).
  2.  Llene un filtr\f de papel dentr\f del cest\f c\fn la cantidad deseada de café 
m\flid\f.
  3.  Presi\fne el b\ftón ST\bONG/1–4 CUP d\fs veces. 1-4 CUP aparece en la 
pantalla digital.
Nota: Cuand\f se usa esta función, el café se c\flará c\fn intensidad regular.
  1.  Presi\fne el b\ftón de encendid\f/apagad\f (ON/OFF), el cicl\f de c\flad\f

c\fl\fque de nuev\f la jarra s\fbre la placa antes de 30 segund\fs. el pr\fces\f de

Siga l\fs pas\fs del 1 al 10 baj\f en la sección PA\bA COLA\b CAFÉ.
  2.  Asegure que el rel\fj esté ajustad\f a la h\fra c\frrecta del día.
  3.  Presi\fne el b\ftón de pr\fgramación (P\bOG).
  4.  El rel\fj digital muestra 12:00.
Nota: Si la cafetera n\f se ha desenchufad\f desde la ultima vez que se 
pr\fgramó el cicl\f de c\flad\f, la última h\fra pr\fgramada aparecerá en la 
pantalla digital.
  5.  Para cambiar la h\fra, inmediatamente presi\fne el b\ftón HOU\b hasta que 
la pantalla digital muestre la h\fra deseada. Presi\fne el b\ftón MIN para 
selecci\fnar l\fs minut\fs.
  6.  Presi\fne el b\ftón de c\flad\f (AUTO) para activar el cicl\f aut\fmátic\f. La 
palabra AUTO aparece en la pantalla digital.
  7.  Para revisar el tiemp\f prepr\fgramad\f, presi\fne el b\ftón de 
pr\fgramación (P\bOG) y mantengal\f presi\fnad\f. Cuand\f suelte el b\ftón, 
el rel\fj aparacerá de nuev\f c\fn la h\fra selecci\fnada.
  8.  Si desea cambiar el tiemp\f prepr\fgramad\f, presi\fne el b\ftón (AUTO) 
para cancelarl la función del AUTO. La palabra AUTO aparece en la 
pantalla digital.
  9.  Siga las instrucci\fnes en l\fs pas\fs 3 a 6 baj\f la sección de COLADO 
AUTOMÁTICO para reiniciar la h\fra.
10.  Para cancelar el cicl\f de c\flad\f aut\fmátic\f, presi\fne el b\ftón   
(AUTO). La palabra AUTO desaparece de la pantalla digital. 
Cuidado y limpieza
Este pr\fduct\f n\f c\fntiene partes que el c\fnsumid\fr pueda reparar. En cas\f 
de requerir mantenimient\f, envíela al pers\fnal de servici\f calificad\f.
LIMPIEZA
•  Asegure que la unidad esté desenchufada y que se haya enfriad\f.
•  Abra la tapa.
•  Para retirar el cest\f del filtr\f, sujete el asa y levante hacia arriba. Deseche 
el filtr\f de papel y el café m\flid\f.
•  Lave el cest\f del filtr\f, la jarra y su tapa en el c\fmpartimient\f de arriba de 
la máquina lavaplat\fs, \f lável\fs a man\f en agua caliente y jabón.
•  Limpie la superficie exteri\fr de la unidad, el panel de c\fntr\fl y la placa 
calefact\fra c\fn un pañ\f suave y húmed\f. N\f use limpiad\fres abrasiv\fs ni 
estr\fpaj\fs. Nunca sumerja la cafetera en agua.
•  Para limpiar la parte de adentr\f de la cubierta, abra la tapa enteriza y 
déjela en p\fsición abierta. Limpie las superficies c\fn un pañ\f suave y 
húmed\f.
LIMPIEZA AUT\bMÁTICA (AUT\b CLEAN)
Se rec\fmienda que limpie su cafetera una vez al mes.
1.  C\fmbine 6 tazas de vinagre blanc\f y 4 tazas de agua fría en la jarra.
2.  Vierta adentr\f del tanque de agua.
3.  C\fl\fque un filtr\f de papel para 8 a 12 tazas en el cest\f del filtr\f. C\fl\fque el 
cest\f adentr\f de su c\fmpartimient\f.
4.  Asegúrese que la tapa de la jarra esté en su lugar y c\fl\fque la jarra s\fbre 
la placa de calentamient\f.
5.  Enchufe el cable en el t\fmac\frriente.
6.  Presi\fne el b\ftón de limpieza aut\fmática (AUTO CLEAN). La palabra 
CLEAN aparece en la pantalla digital y la luz de funci\fnamient\f se ilumina.
7.  Parte de la mezcla se c\flará. El rest\f de la mezcla dem\frará un\fs   
30 minut\fs en c\flar.
Nota: Un cicl\f c\fmplet\f de limpieza dem\fra alreded\fr de 45 a 60 minut\fs.
8.  Cuand\f la cafetera acabe el cicl\f de limpieza aut\fmática (AUTO CLEAN), 
emite un s\fnid\f y se apaga aut\fmáticamente.
9.  Antes de c\flar café, cuele agua limpia siguiend\f las instrucci\fnes en la 
sección PA\bA COMENZA\b.
