    B Assembly
    1. Attach hose to Quick Release™ hose   
    door by i\fserti\fg \bitted e\fd a\fd tur\fi\fg 
    clockwise u\ftil it locks i\fto place. Close   
    hose door.
    2. Attach solutio\f hose to machi\fe by   
    i\fserti\fg i\fto hook-up a\fd tur\fi\fg   
    clockwise u\ftil it locks i\fto place.  
    3. Attach two wa\fd pieces together by   
    li\fi\fg up butto\f locks with holes a\fd   
    locki\fg i\fto place.  be sure wa\fd piece   
    with the storage bracket (see \bigure 4)   
    is the lower wa\fd that will attach to tools. 
    Attached assembled wa\fd to grip   
    usi\fg same tech\fique.
    4. Attach desired tool to lower wa\fd a\fd 
    place storage backet i\fto wa\fd holder.
    5. Place tool caddy o\f back o\b machi\fe \bor 
    vacuumi\fg or solutio\f ta\fk \bor wet clea\fi\fg.
     C Operations
    Water filter vacuuming
    ImPoRTANT:  your cleaner is a water filtra-
    tion cleaner. NeVeR use it in  filter Vac 
    mode without clean tap water in the col-
    lection tank.  you  muST fill the collection 
    tank with clean tap water to the clean 
    water fill line on the back of the collection 
    tank for the machine to function properly. 
    Vacuuming in  filter Vac mode without 
    clean water in the collection tank may 
    cause damage to the motor.
    c -1 \fetting ready1. Ope\f Quick Release hose door, tur\f   
    mode selector to “Fil TeR VAC”, the\f close 
    hose door.
    2. Remove top lid \brom collectio\f ta\fk a\fd   
    set aside.
    3. Fill collectio\f ta\fk to clea\f water \bill li\fe 
    (located o\f back o\b ta\fk) with clea\f tap 
    water a\fd place top lid back o\fto top o\b   
    collectio\f ta\fk.
    4. Attach desired vacuum tool to e\fd   
    o\b wa\fd (or directly to grip \bor smaller 
    accessories).
    5. Plug i\fto a proper electrical socket   
    a\fd push power butto\f o\f.
    6.  Re\ber to sectio\f D \bor machi\fe care 
    i\fstructio\fs.
      Do not plug in your cleaner until you have 
    completely assembled it per the following 
    instructions and are familiar with all instructions 
    and operating procedures.
    *  The filter media, not the vacuum as a whole, 
    complies with the IEST-RP-CC001.5 HEPA standard.
    Do not operate cleaner with damp or wet filters or 
    without all filters in place.
    To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock due 
    to internal component damage, use only BISSELL 
    cleaning formula intended for use with the deep 
    cleaner. Non-BISSELL cleaning formula may harm the machine and 
    void the guarantee.

    Wet cleaning
    c-2 \fetting ready1. Pla\f activities to give your carpets   
    time to dry.
    2. Thoroughly dry vacuum area to be 
    clea\fed.
    3. Pla\f your clea\fi\fg route to leave a\f   
    exit path.  it is best to begi\f clea\fi\fg i\f   
    the cor\fer \barthest \brom your exit.
    4. Ope\f Quick Release hose door, tur\f  
     mode selector to “WeT CleAN”, the\f   
    close hose door. 
    5. Remove tool caddy \brom back o\b   
    machi\fe i\b i\f place.
    6. U\fscrew measuri\fg cap \brom solutio\f 
    ta\fk. Fill solutio\f ta\fk with hot tap water   
    to \bill li\fe. Add o\fe \bull measuri\fg cap o\b 
    \bormula the\f screw cap tightly back o\fto 
    solutio\f ta\fk.
    ImPoRTANT:  be sure to use  bISSell 
    advanced formulas for carpet and   
    upholstery when cleaning carpet, rugs   
    and upholstery. 
    7.  Place solutio\f ta\fk back i\f the machi\fe.
    8. Attach desired wet clea\f tool to e\fd   
    o\b wa\fd (or directly to grip \bor smaller 
    accessories). 
    9.  Plug i\fto a proper electrical socket a\fd 
    push heater, power a\fd wet clea\f butto\fs o\f.
    Note: Allow one minute for the built-in 
    heater to warm up before cleaning. The 
    cleaner will be fully warmed and will   
    provide optimal performance after one   
    minute of continuous heated cleaning. 
    c -3  \beep  clean  carpet Washing1. Place tool directly o\f carpet. Push spray 
    trigger to spray clea\fi\fg solutio\f while   
    pulli\fg wa\fd towards you.
    2. Keep \fozzle o\b tool \birmly agai\fst the   
    carpet sur\bace, co\fti\fue to make slow   
    \borward a\fd backward wet passes u\ftil \fo 
    more dirt ca\f be removed. Do \fot overwet.
    3. Release spray trigger a\fd make slow   
    \borward a\fd backward dry passes over   
    the same area to remove a\fy residual   
    dirty water.
    4. Co\fti\fue to clea\f e\ftire carpet worki\fg   
    i\f o\fe meter by o\fe meter sectio\fs.
    5.  i\b machi\fe loses suctio\f, stop sprayi\fg 
    a\fd check collectio\f ta\fk level.  empty  
    i\b \bull.
    6.  i\b machi\fe stops sprayi\fg, tur\f o\b\b   
    wet clea\f butto\f immediately a\fd check 
    solutio\f ta\fk level. Re\bill i\b empty.  ImPoRTANT: Never run in Wet 
    clean mode 
    when the solution formula tank is empty   
    or missing.
    7.   Re\ber to sectio\f D \bor machi\fe care 
    i\fstructio\fs.
    c -4  upholstery  cleaning1. importa\ft!  i\b usi\fg to wet clea\f upholstery, 
    check the upholstery tags proceedi\fg.
       a .  Check ma\fu\bacturer’s tag be\bore c  
    lea\fi\fg. “W” or “W s” o\f the tag mea\fs 
    you ca\f use your clea\fer.   i\b the tag 
    is coded with a\f “X” or a\f “s” (with a 
    diago\fal stripe through it), or says “Dry 
    Clea\f O\fly”, do \fot proceed with wet 
    clea\fi\fg. Do \fot use o\f velvet or silk.  
    i\b ma\fu\bacturer’s tag is missi\fg or \fot 
    coded, check with the \bur\fiture maker or 
    the \bur\fiture dealer.
       b .  Check \bor colour\bast\fess i\f a\f   
    i\fco\fspicuous place.
       c .  i\b possible, check upholstery stu\b\bi\fg. 
    Coloured stu\b\bi\fg may bleed through 
    \babric whe\f wet.
       d .  Pla\f activities to allow upholstery 
    time to dry.
       e .  Vacuum thoroughly.  
    2. Re\ber to the “Getti\fg Ready to Wet Clea\f”.
    3. Attach desired wet clea\fi\fg tool   
    directly to grip.
    4. Place tool directly o\f sur\bace. Press spray 
    trigger to spray clea\fi\fg solutio\f while   
    pulli\fg tool towards you.
    5. Keep \fozzle o\b tool \birmly agai\fst sur\bace 
    a\fd co\fti\fue to make slow \borward a\fd 
    backward wet passes u\ftil \fo more dirt ca\f 
    be removed.  caution: \bo not overwet.
    6. Release spray trigger a\fd make slow

    c -5 Hard  floor cleaning1. Ope\f Quick Release hose door, tur\f mode 
    selector to “WeT CleAN”, the\f close hose 
    door.   
    2. Remove tool caddy \brom back o\b machi\fe

    3. U\fscrew measuri\fg cap \brom solutio\f 
    ta\fk.  Fill solutio\f ta\fk with hot tap water

    floor Solution when cleaning sealed hard 
    floor surfaces.
    4. Place solutio\f ta\fk back i\f the machi\fe.  
    5. Attach Micro\biber mop pad to quick dry 
    hard \bloor tool by attachi\fg e\fds to Velcro 
    strips o\f top o\b tool.
    6. Attach quick dry hard \bloor tool to e\fd   
    o\b the wa\fd.
    7.  Plug i\fto a proper electrical socket a\fd 
    push heater, power a\fd wet clea\f butto\fs o\f.
    8. Place tool directly o\f the hard \bloor   
    sur\bace, resti\fg o\f the pad.
    9.  Press spray trigger to moiste\f mop pad 
    with clea\fi\fg solutio\f.   
    Cautio\f: Do \fot oversaturate.
    10.  Move tool back a\fd \borth across \bloor; 
    usi\fg solutio\f, brushes a\fd mop pad to 
    clea\f. Press spray trigger as \feeded.
    11. With the spray trigger released, tilt the 
    tool \borward a\fd pull back across clea\fed 
    \bloor to remove a\fy residual water. This will 
    create the best suctio\f a\fd will help get the 
    hard \bloor sur\bace as dry as possible.
    12. Co\fti\fue to clea\f e\ftire \bloor.  
    13. Whe\f \bi\fished, be sure to remove 
    Micro\biber mop pad a\fd clea\f by ha\fd   
    or machi\fe wash as \feeded. Allow to   
    dry completely be\bore \fext use. 
    14. Re\ber to sectio\f D \bor machi\fe care 
    i\fstructio\fs.
    D Care,   
    Maintenance & Storage
    \b-1  machine care
    1. Push heater, power a\fd wet clea\f butto\fs 
    o\b\b. U\fplug machi\fe.
    2.  Ope\f Quick Release™ hose door a\fd 
    remove collectio\f ta\fk by li\bti\fg straight up 
    usi\fg ta\fk ha\fdle.
    3.  Remove top lid \brom collectio\f ta\fk, ri\fse 
    a\fd air dry.
    4.  empty dirty water i\fto a si\fk, toilet or out-
    side by pouri\fg dirt water out \brom cor\fer o\b 
    ta\fk. Ri\fse i\fside o\b collectio\f ta\fk.
    5. Remove mode selector by tur\fi\fg to 
    “ReMOVe” a\fd pulli\fg straight out.  
    6. O\fce model selector is removed, remove 
    water \biltratio\f tower by li\bti\fg up a\fd rotat-
    i\fg clockwise so \bro\ft o\b tower is \baci\fg side 
    o\b collectio\f ta\fk. The\f pull up a\fd out   
    o\b collectio\f ta\fk.
    7.  Ri\fse collectio\f ta\fk, mode selector a\fd 
    water \biltratio\f tower. Allow to air dry com-
    pletely be\bore replaci\fg water \biltratio\f tower 
    a\fd mode selector back i\fto collectio\f ta\fk.
       a .  To replace \biltratio\f tower back   
    i\fto collectio\f ta\fk, drop i\fto top o\b   
    collectio\f ta\fk a\fd rotate cou\fterclock -
    wise so \bro\ft o\b tower is \baci\fg \bro\ft o\b 
    collectio\f ta\fk.  be sure to alig\f with 
    tabs i\f bottom o\b collectio\f ta\fk.
       b .  O\fce water \biltratio\f tower is 
    replaced, replace mode selector by 
    i\fserti\fg back i\fto \bro\ft o\b machi\fe.  
    Make sure mode selector is i\f 
    “ReMOVe” positio\f whe\f i\fserti\fg back 
    i\fto machi\fe. Tur\f either clockwise to 
    “Fil TeR VAC” or cou\fterclockwise to 
    “WeT CleAN” to lock back i\f place.
    8. For wet clea\fi\fg, remove all tools that 
    were used a\fd ri\fse with clea\f tap water. 
    Allow to dry completely be\bore stori\fg.
    9.  Remove hose, taki\fg care to keep both 
    e\fds up to avoid spilli\fg.  empty out  
    a\fy remai\fi\fg water a\fd ri\fse clea\f with 
    clea\f tap water. Allow to dry completely 
    be\bore stori\fg or placi\fg back o\f machi\fe.
    \b-2  maintenance
    1. Pre-motor \bilter: Remove \brom top lid by 
    pulli\fg tab away \brom separator a\fd pull-
    i\fg straight out.  i\fspect \boam \bilter.  i\b dirty, 
    ri\fse with clea\f tap water a\fd allow to dry 
    completely be\bore replaci\fg back i\fto sepa-
    rator. To attach separator back o\fto to top 
    lid, li\fe up “T” pieces u\fder shallow grooves 
    o\f top lid a\fd push together u\ftil tab clicks 
    together. 
    2. HePA Media \bilter*: Remove \bilter door by 
    pressi\fg dow\f o\f latch a\fd pulli\fg dow\f. 
    O\fce \bilter door is ope\f, place o\fe ha\fd o\f 
    each side o\b \bilter a\fd pull it out o\b machi\fe.  
    i\b dirty, replace with \few \bilter or ri\fse u\fder 
    clea\f tap water a\fd allow to dry completely 
    be\bore replaci\fg back i\fto machi\fe.  be sure 
    \bilter door is \bully closed a\fd latched prior to 
    operati\fg machi\fe. 
    \b-3  machine storage
    Water a\fd clea\fi\fg \bormula ca\f be le\bt   
    i\f solutio\f ta\fk \bor \fext use.
    1. Wrap power cable arou\fd cable wrap   
    o\f back o\b the machi\fe.
    2.  store u\fit i\f a protected, dry area, at   
    room temperature (4° to 43° C).

    This Guarantee does not apply to any defect arising from fair wear 
    and tear. Damage or malfunction caused by the user or any third 
    party whether as a result of accident, negligence, abuse, neglect, or 
    any other use not in accordance with the User Guide is not covered 
    by this Guarantee.
