    Assembly 
    1. Slide upper \fody into lower \fody. 
    2. 
    Secure wit\b screws.
    3. Slide \bandle assem\fly down into upper \fody 
    until it will go no furt\ber. Align screw slots.
    4. Secure wit\b screw.
    5. Place clean water/solution tank on \fack of unit.

    mac\bine wit\b BISSE\f\f formulas containing 
    Scotc\bgard protector every 12 mont\bs, your 
    carpet warranty from 3M remains in effect. No

    before you clean
    1.  Remove easily moved furniture (c\bairs, 
    lamps, coffee/cocktail ta\fles, etc.) from 
    room if needed.
    2.  Vacuum carpet t\boroug\bly.
    3.  Decide w\bere to \fegin. Plan to leave 
    a pat\b open to empty soiled water and 
    refill cleaner.
    note:  carpeting will dry in three 
    to four hours, depending on carpet 
    style and air circulation in room.  a

    fill the tank
    1. Remove t\be clean water/solution tank \fy 
    lifting it straig\bt up, t\ben away from t\be 
    lower \fody.
    2.  Unscrew t\be \flack cap at t\be \fottom of 
    t\be clean water/solution tank.
    3.  fill to t\be  foRmULA line wit\b BISSELL 2X  
    cleaning formula.  fill t\be rest of t\be tank 
    wit\b \band \bot (not \foiling) tap water to 
    t\be water fill line. Replace and tig\bten t\be 
    \flack cap.  
    4.  Place clean water/solution tank on lower 
    \fody.
    5.  Rotate Quick Release Cord Wrap™ to 
    release t\be power cord and plug into an 
    outlet.
    carpet cleaning
    1. Wit\b your foot, press t\be red power 
    switc\b [located in foot of unit]  oN .
    2.  Wit\b foot, press t\be detent lever on left 
    side of lower \fody.
    3.  Depress spray trigger to spray cleaning 
    solution.  do not o\ferwet.
    4.  To suction up water, repeat motion over same 
    area wit\bout pressing t\be spray trigger.
    5.  Repeat steps 3 and 4 until no more dirt 
    can \fe removed.
    6.  Continue to clean entire carpet, working 
    in 1m x 1m sections.
    7.  Empty t\be collection tank w\ben dirty water 
    reac\bes t\be full line, or w\ben t\be clean 
    water/solution tank is empty. 
    8.  If floor nozzle stops spraying, turn power 
    switc\b  off and c\beck water and cleaning 
    solution levels. Refill if needed.
    Tip:
    \bt is recommen\fe\f   
    that every time your 
    clean water/solution 
    tank nee\fs refilling, that 
    you empty the contents 
    of the collection tank. \bf 
    the collection tank gets 
    too full, you may begin 
    to see foam spitting out 
    of the vent cover. \bf this 
    happens empty the   
    collection tank.
    Wa \bning :
    To reduce t\be risk of fire, use only 
    BISSE\f\f advanced cleaning formulas 
    for full size mac\bines in your deep 
    cleaner. Use of cleaning formulas 
    t\bat contain lemon or pine oil may 
    damage t\bis appliance and void 
    warranty. C\bemical spot cleaners or 
    solvent-based soil removers s\bould 
    not be used. T\bese products may 
    react wit\b t\be plastic materials used in 
    your deep cleaner, causing cracking 
    or pitting.

    Deep cleaning spots, spills and high 
    traffic areas on a regular \fasis can

    empty collection tank
    1. Turn power switc\b  off and unplug power 
    cord from outlet.
    2.  Remove and empty collection tank.
    a. Release collection tank latc\bes [1 eac\b 
    side] \fy pulling up from \fottom of latc\b 
    and t\ben out. 
    b. Carefully remove collection tank from 
    lower \fody \fy lifting \bandle. 
    c. Carry collection tank to a toilet or sink. To 
    empty, pour out contents using opening at 
    \fack of tank.
    d. Rinse collection tank t\boroug\bly. 
    e. Remove vent cover from top of collection 
    tank \fy pulling t\be ta\f on top and pulling 
    up.  Remove foam filter from vent cover.  
    Rinse filter t\boroug\bly and replace \fack 
    into vent cover. Replace vent cover \fack 
    into collection tank, making sure t\be ta\f 
    clicks \fack into t\be locked position.
    3. Remove lint and \bair from red gasket in 
    \fase of unit.  (d o not remo\fe gasket)
    4.  Clean nozzle window \fy lifting latc\b 
    and removing from mac\bine. Rinse under 
    running water. W\ben finis\bed replace 
    nozzle and secure wit\b latc\b.
    5.  Replace collection tank on \fase of unit and 
    secure wit\b latc\bes.

    When your done
    1. Turn power switc\b  off.
    2.  Unplug power cord from outlet.
    3.  Remove and empty collection tank.

    b. Carefully remove collection tank from 
    lower \fody \fy lifting \bandle.

    5.  Clean nozzle window \fy lifting latc\b and 
    removing from mac\bine. Rinse under run-
    ning water. W\ben finis\bed replace nozzle 
    and secure wit\b latc\b.
    6.  Replace collection tank on lower \fody 
    and secure wit\b latc\bes.
    7.  Wrap power cord around Quick Release 
    Cord Wrap
    ™ on side of deep cleaner.
    8.  Wipe all surfaces wit\b a soft clot\b. Store 
    cleaner uprig\bt in a protected, dry area.
    note:  you may ha\fe cleaning solu-
    tion remaining in the clean water/
    solution tank.  you may store your 
    deep cleaner this way for the next 
    cleaning task, but ne\fer keep soiled 
    solution in the collection tank.
