    Yo\fr Easy Sweep contains rechargea\ble nickel 
    metal hydride (NiMH) \batteries. Do not inciner -
    ate \batteries or they can explode when exposed 
    to high temperat\fres.
    Battery cell leaks can occ\fr \fnder extreme 
    conditions. If \battery cell contents comes in 
    contact with the skin
    :
    ■  Fl\fsh immediately with warm water for 
    at least 15 min\ftes, then wash with 
    soap and water.
    If \battery cell contents comes in contact with 
    the skin
    :
    ■  Fl\fsh immediately with clean water for a 
    minim\fm of 15 min\ftes
    ■  Seek medical attention.

    t he  easy sweep requires \fery little assem -
    bly. \bemo\fe it from the box and check 
    it against the illustration to familiarize 
    yourself with the components listed.  the 
    exploded \fiew diagram with part names 
    will also be helpful if you should need to 
    order a part at a later time.
    1.  Assem\ble the handle \by taking the section 
    with the non-slip grip  (1) and the middle 
    section which has grey connector pieces on 
    each end  (2). Insert the middle section  (2) 
    into the grip section (1) and twist to tighten 
    into place. Next, take this assem\bled section 
    and insert into the \bottom section with a hole 
    (3) . Twist to tighten into place.     
    2.  Take the assem\bled handle and line \fp the 
    \bottom hole with the \b\ftton on the swivel 
    connector on top of the EasySweep. P\fsh 
    the \b\ftton on the swivel connector down 
    while p\fshing the assem\bled handle over 
    the \b\ftton, locking the handle into place.
    3.  The EasySweep m\fst \be f\flly charged 
    \before \fsing. To charge the \fnit, pl\fg the 
    charger into a standard electrical o\ftlet 
    (230-240v-50hz); pl\fg the opposite end 
    into the charging port on the \back side of 
    yo\fr EasySweep. The charging indicator 
    light will ill\fminate when properly con -
    nected and will not t\frn off when f\flly 
    charged. The EasySweep is now charging.
    note:  the power  switch must be in 
    the  off position when charging.
    Wa\bning: Electric/electroni\gc appliances 
    should not be subjected to extreme 
    temperatures or high humidity. 
    Do not store the EasySweep in 
    bathing areas or close to stoves, 
    furnaces or radiators.

    charging the battery
    1. When completely charged, the 
    EasySweep provides \fp to 45 min\ftes of 
    cleaning time. 
    2.  When charging for the first time, allow 
    to charge \fninterr\fpted for at least 16 
    ho\frs. Thereafter, charge at least 16 
    ho\frs to f\flly renew the EasySweep \bat-
    tery. The charging indicator light will 
    ill\fminate when properly connected and 
    will not t\frn off when f\flly charged.
    note:  the power  switch must be in 
    the  off position when charging.
    3. Decreased operating time may indicate 
    the \battery has \b\filt \fp a resistance. To 
    recharge, first completely exha\fst the 
    \battery, recharge it, and then exha\fst it 
    again \before recharging a second time. 
    This proced\fre may \be req\fired more 
    than once. 
    4.  When charging is complete, \be s\fre to 
    \fnpl\fg the EasySweep from the charger.

    the  easy sweep is a quick and easy 
    way to clean your bare floors, low pile 
    rugs and carpet.
    1.  Tip \back the handle into typical \fse posi-
    tion and gently tap the power switch on 
    the sweeper with yo\fr foot.
    note:  the unit will continue to run 
    e\fen if the dirt container door is 
    not closed.
    2.  The handle swivels for easy mane\fvering 
    to clean yo\fr \bare floors, low pile r\fgs 
    and carpet. 
    3.  When done, t\frn off the \fnit \by gently 
    tapping the power switch with yo\fr foot 
    and store for the next \fse.
    Operations
    Wa\bning: EasySweep will not pick up cray-
    ons, marbles, and other large or 
    hard objects.

    emptying dirt cup
    the  dirt  cup should be emptied after 
    each use.
    1.  Make s\fre the EasySweep is in the 
    “oFF” position.
    2.  Hold the \base of the \fnit over a waste 
    can to empty.
    3.  Press the dirt container release \b\ftton and 
    empty the contents into the waste can. 
    note:  the dirt container opens from 
    the bottom of the  easysweep.
    4. P\fsh the dirt container door gently \back 
    into place.
    5.  Clean exterior s\frfaces with a soft cloth 
    dampened with water only. Do not \fse 
    a strong detergent or other cleaner – this 
    may damage the finish. Always \fnpl\fg 
    the EasySweep from the charger \before 
    cleaning the s\frface
    battery \bemo\fal and disposal
    note:  it is required that the battery 
    be remo\fed from the  easy sweep 
    before it is disposed of.
    1.  Important: Unpl\fg charger.
    2.  remove handle, dirt c\fp and then pry 
    fo\fr wheels from \bottom of sweeper.
    3.  remove (6) Phillips head screws on the \bottom cover as shown in pict\fre.
    4. Separate top and \bottom cover.
    5.  remove wire connectors from the \battery 
    pack.
    6. Keep \battery pack together – Do NoT 
    separate individ\fal \batteries. For specific 
    disposal instr\fctions, please contact yo\fr 
    local a\fthorities for req\firements and 
    reg\flations on safe disposal or recycling 
    facilities in yo\fr area.
    7. Discard remainder of prod\fct.
    6 Screws
     Wa\bning : This product contains a   
    rechargeable nickel metal 
    hydride battery (sometimes 
    referred to as a “Ni\bH”   
    battery) pack. The average life of 
    a Ni\bH battery is 5 to 7 years, 
    depending on frequency of use. 
    Proper removal and disposal of 
    Ni\bH batteries is required.

    shock, turn power switch 
    OFF and disconnect charger 
    from electrical outlet before 
    performing maintenance or 
    troubleshooting.
