10 HOW TO USE YOUR FIREARMRemove the magazine from the pistol by depressing the magazine release button (Fig. 1). Loading the magazine: Hold the magazine with one hand, and with the other push down the feeder platform or the round already in the magazine and carefully slide the new cartridge completely back under the lips.
