EnglishTurning the projector off
To turn the projector off, press POWER () on the projector or 
OFF on the remote control and a warning message appears. Press 
POWER () or OFF again.
•  The Power indicator light flashes orange and the fans run for 
about two minutes to cool the lamp. The projector will not 
respond to any commands until the cooling process is complete.
•  Then, the Power indicator light is a steady orange once the 
cooling process has finished and fans stop.

FunctionDescription
LanguageSets the language for the On-Screen Display (OSD) menus. See Using the

Splash ScreenAllows you to select which logo screen will be displayed during projector start-
up. You can choose BenQ logo screen, Blue screen or Black screen.
Projector PositionThe projector can be installed on a ceiling or behind a screen, or with one or

Closed Caption
Closed Caption Enable
Activates the function by selecting On when the selected input signal carries 
closed captions.
•  Captions: An on-screen display of the dialogue, narration, and sound effects 
of TV programs and videos that are closed captioned (usually marked as 
CC in TV listings).
Caption Version

Selects the projector lamp power between Normal and Economic modes.
