Operation 38 High Altitude Mode (off) A mode for operation in areas like high altitude or high temperature. We recommend you use the High Altitude Mode when your environment is higher than 3000 feet above sea level, or is hotter than 40 °C, or whenever the projector will be used for extended periods of time (>10 hours) without shutdown. Maintenance 40 Maintenance Care of the projector Your projector needs little maintenance. The only thing you need to do on a regular basis is to keep the lens clean. Never remove any parts of the projector except the lamp. Contact your dealer if other parts need replacing. Maintenance 43 Lamp information Calculation of lamp hour When the projector is in operation, the duration (in hours) of lamp usage is automatically calculated by the built-in timer. The method of calculating the equivalent lamp hour is as follows: Total (equivalent) lamp hour = 3/4 (hours used in Economic mode) + 1 (hours used in normal mode) See Economic Mode (off ) on page 38 for more information on Economic mode.
