5 Getting started Consider keeping the box and packaging in storage for use in the future when you may need to transport the monitor. The fitted foam packing is ideal for protecting the monitor during transport. Always keep the product and accessories out of reach of small children. 9 Getting to know the remote control (EW2730 only) Installing the battery 1. Turn over the remote control. Remove the battery cover as illustrated. 2. Remove the battery insulation sheet. 3. Replace the provided battery onto the battery holder properly. Make sure that the positive terminal (+) faces upward. 4. Replace the battery cover. The remote control is ready to use now. 1 2

10 How to assemble your monitor hardware 4. How to assemble your monitor hardware If the computer is turned on you must turn it off before continuing. Do not plug-in or turn-on the power to the monitor until instructed to do so. 1. Attach the monitor base. Please be careful to prevent damage to the monitor.
