The BARCOVISION3200 is based on an innovative,
highly efficient optical system, which offers
extremely bright and crystal clear images, even in
high ambient light conditions.

							The BARCOVISION3200 is based
on an innovative high
efficiency optical system,

active matrix 3” LCD panels 
with a resolution of 720 x 480
pixels. 
The B
ARCOVISION3200 is
equipped with a state-of-the-
art pre-polariser which
polarises the light from the
lamp in an extremely efficient
way before it reaches the LCD
panels. The light polarised in
the other direction is reflected
on the pre-polariser and
absorbed by the lamp.
This system guarantees a highly
efficient polarisation of the
light and eliminates excessive
thermal dissipation of the
polariser on the LCD panel.
Equipped with a high perfor-
mance, proprietary Pixel Map
Processor, the B
ARCOVISION3200
is compatible with all Video
sources, all high-definition,
extended and improved
television standards, all
computer standards up to 
S-VGA (800x600) resolution.
The Pixel Map Processor
converts all incoming signals to
the full resolution of the LCD
panels in order to maximise the
light output and resolution of
the projector. 
The light from the metal-halide lamp
is split into three spectral components
by dichroic mirrors and modulated by
the LCD panels. After recomposition, 
the picture is enlarged onto the screen
by the projection lens.
The B
ARCOVISION3200 comes with a built-in
adjustable lens holder, which allows the displayed
picture to be shifted up or down and sideways, without
moving the projector from its normal position. This
feature is particularly useful for dual or triple  
stacked projector configurations.

BARCO’s multi-
functional
frame facilitates
carrying and protects the projector against
impacts. In addition, it allows
quick and easy set-up of the
projector for dual or triple
stacked applications (dual mount
kit required), in either a table or
ceiling mount configuration. 
The projector can also be used in
a vertical position in combination
with a special mirror (not for
MD(1.2:1) and zoom lenses). The
multifunctional frame’s rugged
light weight design makes it
ideally suited to the rental
business and all applications
where transportability is an
important consideration.
