The WHD(3.5:1) lens is developed for those applications which require both 16:9 and 4:3 projection on the same screen, particular useful in cinema front projection applications. The WHD (3.5:1) lens transforms the original 4:3 picture on the LCD panels into a 16:9 format on the screen. Meanwhile there is still sufficient resolution for 4:3 projection of standard video or data projection. Lens For BARCO 5/8/9000 Series Projectors WHD (3.5:1) LENS Features • High definition lens with a throwing distance of 3.5 times the screen width (1 - 10 meter or 42 - 400 inch screen width) • Transformation of the 4:3 picture on the LCD panels into a 16:9 format on the screen. • No decrease in performance: high light output and full resolution of the 16:9 picture. • Compatible with all currently proposed HDTV television standards (Eureka 95, Hi-Vision, ACTV, IDTV, EDTV), standard video (PAL, Secam, NTSC) and computer data both in VGA and MACII standard.
