7 ENGLISHGB ASSEMBLY LEGS 1. Turn the motor housing upside-down. Insert the screws into the machine from the bottom (fig. 1). 2. The right and left legs differ. Check that the legs are attached so that they are angled outwards (fig. 2). 3. Fix the legs to the machine using washers and nuts (fig. 3). Do not tighten the nuts yet. 4. The axle components are assembled for packing and transportation. Loosen the nuts, wheel bushings and two washers on each side. Insert the axle between the legs (fig....

8 ENGLISHGB Replace the feed funnel and restart. NOTE! A safe- ty switch in the motor housing prevents the motor from starting if the feed funnel is not fitted correctly. STOPPING THE MOTOR Stop the motor by pressing the toggle switch to set- ting 0 (fig. 12). Do not feed in any material after the mo- tor has stopped. It will jam in the ma- chine and may prevent restarting. Unplug the machine before leaving it unattended. SHREDDING The following types of material can be shredded in the shredder: -...

9 ENGLISHGB MAINTENANCE Always unplug the machine from the electrical supply before carrying out ad- justment or maintenance. REPLACING THE BLADES The blades of the shredder have two cutting edges, so they can be reversed. When both edges are worn the blades must be re- placed. Always replace with genuine replacement blades. Replace the blades as follows: 1. Switch off the motor and unplug the shredder. Wait until the blades have stopped. 2.
