Phone Calls
Calling from Your Call History
  From the home screen, tap .
  Tap  next to the number you want to call.
Calling from a Text Message
If a text message contains a phone number that you want to call, 
you can make the call while viewing the text message.
  From the home screen, tap .
    Tap the conversation and then the message that contains the phone number you need.

Putting a Call on Hold
During a call, you can put it on hold by tapping MoreHold. 
Tip: If you accept an incoming call while you’re on another call, the first call automatically goes on hold. Tap MoreSwap to switch between the two callers.
Turning the Speakerphone On/Off
Tap Speaker during a call to turn the speakerphone on. Tap Speaker again to turn off the speakerphone.

Contacts
You can add contacts on your phone and synchronize them with the contacts in your Google account or other accounts that support contact syncing.

Importing Contacts from microSDHC card or Exporting 
to microSDHC card
    From the Contacts screen, press Import/Export.
    Choose to import or export contacts. If you have more than one account set up on your phone, you will need to select the account to which you’d like to import contacts.
    Note: Files will be saved to/pulled from the microSDHC card when one is inserted in the phone.

Entering Text
When you tap a field that needs text or numbers, a keyboard automatically appears on the screen. Open the Notifications panel and tap Choose input method to change input method. 
Google Keyboard
The Google keyboard provides a layout similar to a desktop computer keyboard. Turn the phone sideways and the keyboard will change from portrait to landscape.

    On a screen with a TouchPal X keyboard, tap , choose the keyboard T26, T12, or T+.
The T26 Layout
•    Tap the alphabetic keys to enter letters.
•   Tap  to use uppercase or lowercase letters. Double tap  to lock the keyboard in uppercase. This key also changes to indicate the current case you are using:  for lowercase,  for uppercase, and  when locked in uppercase.

Messaging
To Enable and Use TouchPal X Curve
    On the TouchPal X keyboard screen, tap  and check the box next to Curve®.
    Move your finger from letter to letter on the keyboard to  trace a word without lifting the finger until you reach the end of the word.
Note: TouchPal X Curve is only available in the T26 layout.
  
Tips:
•    To enter a single letter, tap it.
•   Lift your finger at the end of the word. A space is added automatically when you begin to trace the next word.

Changing Message Settings
The phone’s message settings are pre-configured for you to use immediately. To change them, press Settings from the Messaging screen.

With the Email application, you can access your email from various providers, including Yahoo!® and Gmail.
Creating an Email Account
    From the home screen, tap  and select an email account type.
    Enter your email address and password.
    Tap Next to let the phone retrieve the network parameters automatically.
