    3. Enter part or all of the location name you want to search for. Search results 
    are then displayed. 
    4. Touch a search result to mark it on the map. 
    5. Touch the mark to view more details about the location.
    Getting somewhere
    1. On the home screen, touch Google apps > .
    2. Touch . 
    3. Choose a transportation method. 
    4. Follow the onscreen instructions to enter your starting point and 
    destination. Routes are then displayed in the lower part of the screen.
    5. Touch a route to view its details on the map.
    Touch  to clear the search results.
    YouTube
    YouTube is Googles online video-sharing website, where you can search for, 
    watch, and upload videos. 
    1. On the home screen, touch Google apps > .
    2. Touch . 
    3. Enter the keywords for the video you want to find. 
    4. Touch in the lower right corner of the keyboard to display the search

    Play Store
    Play Store is Googles digital application distributed platform, where you can 
    download applications and games, as well as update and browse downloaded 
    content.
    1. On the home screen, touch .
    2. Find the application you want to install.
    3. Follow the onscreen instructions to download and install it.

    Calendar
    Calendar is your personal assistant that helps you manage, arrange, and keep 
    track of all important events. If you have saved the birthday information for 
    your contacts, Calendar automatically creates birthday reminders. 
    Creating an event
    1. On the home screen, touch .
    2. Touch . 
    3. Enter event details, such as the event name, time, location, and how often 
    it repeats.
    4. Touch SAVE. 
    Viewing events
    1. On the home screen, touch .
    2. Touch the tabs at the top of the screen to switch between the year, month, 
    week, day, and agenda views. The agenda view displays all your calendar 
    events. 
    Sharing an event
    1. On the home screen, touch .
    2. Select the event you want to share. 
    3. Touch to share the event using Bluetooth, email, or other methods. 
    Synchronizing and viewing events
    Calendar events in your accounts (such as an email account) can be 
    synchronized to and viewed on Calendar.

    1. On the home screen, touch .
    2. Touch  > Calendars to display. 
    3. Select the account whose calendar you want to display.
    4. Touch  > Calendars to sync. 
    5. Select the account from which you want to synchronize calendar events, 
    and touch 
    OK. 
    Configuring calendar settings
    1. On the home screen, touch .
    2. Touch  > Settings to set the calendar view and notification method. 
    Clock
    Clock lets you view the time around the world, use stopwatch or timer to keep 
    track of time, or set alarms to wake you up in the morning.
    Alarm
    1. On the home screen, touch  > .
    2. Under Alarm, you can: 
    •Add an alarm: Touch , and set the alarm time, ringtone, how often it 
    repeats, and more. Then touch DONE. 
    •Turn on or turn off an alarm: Touch the switch button to the right of an 
    alarm to turn it on or off. 
    •Configure alarm settings: Touch , and set the snooze duration, 
    whether the alarm rings in silent mode, and what the volume buttons do 
    when pressed. 
    •Delete an alarm: Touch , select the alarm you want to delete, and 
    touch DELETE.

    World clock
    1. On the home screen, touch  > .
    2. Under World clock, you can: 
    •Add a city: Touch , enter a city name or choose a city from the city 
    list, and touch the city you want to add. 
    •Set your time zone: Touch to set your home time zone and system 
    date and time. 
    •Delete a city: Touch , select the city you want to delete, and touch 
    REMOVE. 
    Stopwatch
    1. On the home screen, touch  > .
    2. On the Stopwatch tab, touch Start to start timing. 
    3. Touch Lap to record multiple times. 
    4. Touch Stop to stop the stopwatch. 
    Touch Reset to clear all stopwatch records. 
    Timer
    1. On the home screen, touch  > .
    2. On the Timer tab, rotate the dial to set the timer duration, or touch an 
    option to quickly select a time duration. 
     
    Touch  to set a tone for the timer.
    3. When you are done, touch Start to start the timer. 
    4. When the timer ends, the phone plays a tone and starts overtime timing. 
    Touch 
    Close to stop the tone and reset the timer. 
     
    When the timer is running, touch Reset to reset it.

    Calculator
    1. On the home screen, touch  > .
    2. Rotate your phone to portrait or landscape view to switch between the 
    basic and scientific calculators. 
     
    Make sure the screen auto-rotate function is turned on. 
    Notes
    1. On the home screen, touch  > .
    2. Touch Add note. 
    3. Enter your notes content.
    4. When you are done, touch to save it. You can also:
    •Touch to share the note.
    •Touch to delete the note.
    •Touch to create another note.
    •Return to the Notes screen, and touch to search for a note.
    FM radio
     
    Connect a headset to the phone. FM Radio utilizes the headset as an 
    antenna.
    Searching for stations
    1. On the home screen, touch  > .
    2. Touch  > to search for and save available stations. 
     
    Your phone will automatically search for and save stations the first time 
    you open the FM radio.

    Listening to FM radio
    Touch to return to the previous station. 
    Touch to turn on or turn off the FM radio.
    Touch to add the current station to your favorites.
    Touch to go to the next station. 
    Touch to enable or disable the speaker. 
    Touch to view the station list. In the station list, touch 
    to set a timer for turning off the FM radio.

    Setting up an account
    Adding an account
    1. On the home screen, touch  > .
    2. Under All, touch Add account. 
    3. Select an account type.
    4. Follow the onscreen instructions and enter your account information.
    Deleting an account
    1. On the home screen, touch  > .
    2. Touch the All tab. 
    3. Under ACCOUNTS, select an account type.
    4. Select the account you want to delete.
    5. Touch  > Remove account. 
    6. In the displayed dialog box, touch Remove.
    Turning on data synchronization
    1. On the home screen, touch  > .
    2. Touch the All tab. 
    3. Under ACCOUNTS, select an account type.
    4. Select the account you want to synchronize from. 
    5. Touch the data you want to synchronize.
     
    You can touch   > Sync now to synchronize data in the background.  
    						
    							Phone settings

    Turning on or turning off airplane mode
     
    Your phones signal reception or transmission may interfere with an 
    airplanes flight system. Power off your phone or switch to airplane 
    mode as required when you are on a flight. In airplane mode, your 
    phones wireless features are disabled, but you can still listen to music 
    or play games. 
    Use either of the following methods to turn on or turn off 
    Airplane mode: 
    • Press and hold the power button, and touch Airplane mode. 
    • On the home screen, touch  > . Under All, touch Airplane mode. 
    When airplane mode is on,  is displayed on the status bar.
    Adjusting the screen brightness
    1. On the home screen, touch  > .
    2. Under All, touch Display. 
    3. Touch Brightness. 
    4. Drag the slider left or right to adjust the screen brightness.
     
    You can also flick down from the status bar to open the notification 
    panel and adjust the screen brightness using the shortcut switch. 
    Modifying tone settings
    1. On the home screen, touch  > .
    2. Under All, touch Sound. 
    3. On the Sound screen, you can: 
    •Touch Volume and drag the sliders to set the volume of music, ringtones, 
    notification tones, alarms, calls, and more. 
    •Touch Silent mode to turn on or turn off silent mode.

    •Select or clear the Vibrate in silent mode check box to set whether your 
    phone vibrates when it is in silence mode. 
    •Select or clear the Vibrate when ringing check box to set whether your 
    phone vibrates when you have an incoming call.
    •Touch Phone ringtone to select a ringtone.
    •Touch Default notification tone to set a notification tone. 
    •Touch or clear the check box under SYSTEM to turn on or turn off the 
    notification tone or vibration when you touch or lock the screen, take a 
    screenshot, dial a number, and more.
    Modifying display settings
    1. On the home screen, touch  > .
    2. Under All, touch Display. 
    3. On the Display screen, you can: 
    •Touch Brightness to adjust the screen brightness. 
    •Touch Wallpaper to set the lock screen and home screen wallpapers.
    •Select or clear the Auto-rotate screen check box to enable or disable the 
    screen auto-rotate function. If this function is enabled, your screens 
    orientation will automatically change with the way you hold your phone 
    when you perform certain operations, such as browsing a web page, 
    viewing a picture, or writing a message. 
    •Touch Sleep to set a screen timeout period. If idle for the specified period, 
    your phone automatically locks its screen to save battery power. 
    •Touch Font size to change the display font size.
    Turning on or turning off do not disturb 
    mode
    To avoid being disturbed when you need to focus on important business, turn 
    on do not disturb mode. In do not disturb mode, your phone will ring only
