Your phone includes\& support for Bluetooth, which can be used \&to connect your pho\&ne to a wireless headset.\& You can also use it \&to transfer files betwe\&en your phone and \&other Bluetooth devices, such as \&another phone or a laptop. Note: Set Discoverable to On to allow your phone to\& be found by compatible devices.\& My Devices 1. From idle mode, sel\&ect Menu > Settin\bs > Connections > Bluetooth > My devices. 2. Press the OK Key to search for avai\&lable Bluetooth devices. 3. Hi\bhli\bht a device f\&rom the list and pre\&ss the OK Key. 4. To connect to the dev\&ice, enter the passcode when promp\&ted and press the Left Soft Key for Pair. There are two optio\&ns for Bluetooth connection: • Automatic: Set another Bluetooth device that is conn\&ectin\b to your phone as an authori\&zed device. • Always Ask: Set another Bluetooth device that is conn\&ectin\b to your phone as an unautho\&rized device that must ask before con\&nectin\b. Tip: Some devices don\ft connect to another\& Bluetooth device automaticall\&y. You need to hi\bhli\bht the devi\&ce name in the My devices list and press the \&OK Key to connect with it.

Stopwatch With this feature, y\&ou can measure time \&and take split times or \&lap times, for examp\&le, in different sports. 1. From idle mode, sel\&ect Menu > My Stuff > Tools > Stopwatch. 2. Select Start to start timin\b. 3. Select Stop to stop the timin\b d\&urin\b the operation and view \&the duration of time\&. 4. Select Contin. to continue timin\b. 5. Select Reset to reset the stopwa\&tch. World Time With this feature, y\&ou can check the cu\&rrent local time and date \&for major cities ar\&ound the world. 1. From idle mode, sel\&ect Menu > My Stuff > Tools > World time. 2. Press left or ri\bht \&on the Navi\bation Key to view the time of \&desired city. 3. Press the OK Key to save the selecte\&d city time as the time\& settin\b on your phone. 4. Press the Ri\bht Soft Key to exit. Calculator With this feature, y\&ou can use the phon\&e as a calculator. The calculator pr\&ovides the basic arithmetic\& functions; additio\&n, subtraction, multipl\&ication, and divisi\&on. 1. From idle mode, sel\&ect Menu > My Stuff > Tools > Calculator. 2. Enter the first number\& usin\b the Number Keys. 3. Enter the operation f\&or your calculation\& by pressin\b up, dow\&n, left, or ri\bht on\& the Navi\bation Key. 4. Enter the second numb\&er. 5. Press the OK Key for Equal to view the result. Entertainment 27 Tools 26 Recent Calls With this feature, y\&ou can check the ca\&ll lo\b and call duration. From idle mode, sel\&ect Menu > My Stuff > Tools > Recent calls. • Call lo\b: You can check All calls, Missed calls, Received calls, and Dialed calls lo\bs. • Call Info: You can check the Last call duration and All calls duration. You can also clear \&all the call durati\&on timers by pressin\b t\&he OK Key for Clear. To reset the timers y\&ou will need to ent\&er the phone\fs lock code. The d\&efault lock code is 0000. Note: All calls information can al\&so be accessed by pressi\&n\b the Send Key while in idle mode. Currency Conversion This feature allows\& you to convert for\&ei\bn currency to domestic\& currency. From idle mode, sel\&ect Menu > My Stuff > Tools > Currency conversion. • Exchan\be rate: Enter a currency exchan\be rate. • Forei\bn amount: Enter the amount of \& forei\bn currency to\& be converted. • Local amount: The conversion re\&sult displays. Tip: Press the Left Soft Key to enter a decimal. Your phone allows y\&ou to use a camera,\& video camera, and v\&oice recorder to ta\&ke photos, shoot video\& clips, record voi\&ce memos, and more. Pictures Your phone includes\& a photo mana\bement function. Photos in\& the phone\fs memory or on the external memory \&card can be browse\&d, transmitted, set as w\&allpaper, moved, renamed, copied, an\&d deleted. Caution: The preloaded photos on the phone cannot \fe transmitt\ped or deleted. Takin\b a Photo Your phone has an i\&nte\brated di\bital cam\&era, which allows you to\& capture ima\bes. 1. From idle mode, sel\&ect Menu > My Stuff > Tools > Camera. Or from idle mode, \&hold the Camera Key to start the camera. 2. Aim the camera lens \&at a subject. 3. Press the OK Key to take the photo; \& press it a\bain to sa\&ve. Viewin\b Pictures You can use the foll\&owin\b method to view\& the photos: 1. AT&T Music The AT&T Music applicati\&on centers on three key music exp\&eriences: Play, Discover, and Shop. It includ\&es a free-of-char\be\& music player to pla\&y your music files a\&nd create playlists, a\&s well as additiona\&l radio, son\b purchas\&e, and lyric and s\&on\b match functionality \&to enhance your mus\&ic experience on the p\&hone. Starting AT&T Music 1. From idle mode, sel\&ect Menu > AT&T Music. 2. Accept the terms and\& conditions of service. 3. The screen then dis\&plays a warnin\b that this feature us\&es lar\be amounts of \& data and recommends \&subscribin\b to an unlimited data plan.\& Select Continue. 4. Settin\bs 31 Entertainment 30 • Featured Artists: allows you to acce\&ss music of the presen\&tly featured artists\&. • View Genres: allows you to view \&the different music \benr\&es that you may select from. • Purchase History: allows you to see \&a history of all of y\&our purchases. • Settin\bs & Support: contextual settin\bs \& for AT&T Music and help \&and support in the Shop section. Voice Recorder This function allow\&s you to record a v\&oice memo. You can also set the\& voice memo as a rin\btone. Recordin\b 1. From idle mode, sel\&ect Menu > My Stuff > Tools > Voice recorder. 2. Select Start to start recordin\b \&your voice memo. 3. Select Pause to pause the recor\&din\b. 4. Select Contin. to resume recordin\&\b. 5. Select Stop to stop recordin\b. Sound Profiles Settin\r\bs You can set and edit\& an appropriate pro\&file dependin\b on your c\&urrent environment. 1. From idle mode, sel\&ect Menu > Settin\bs > Sound Profiles. 2. Select a profile and\& press the Left Soft Key for Edit. • Select Voice call rin\btone to set the voice call rin\btone\&. • Select Rin\b volume to set the volume of the rin\btone. • Select Rin\b type to set the rin\b type\&. • Select Messa\be tone to set the notification rin\btone\& for an incomin\b messa\be. • Select Keypad tone to enable or disable keypad tone\&. • Select Warnin\b tone to turn the warnin\b tone on or \&off. • Select Power on/off sound to turn on/off the sound th\&at plays while powerin\b on/off the\& phone. • Select Earpiece volume to set the volume in the earpi\&ece. Phone Settin\bs From idle mode, sel\&ect Menu > Settin\bs > Phone. • Select Lan\bua\be to set the current \& display lan\bua\be. • Select Time and date to set the date, time, and time style.\& • Select Network time to enable or disable whether the\& phone synchronize\&s its clock with the n\&etwork. • Select Missed calls alert \rto enable or disable the noti\&fication for missed \& calls. Choose for \&the alert to repeat \& every 5 minutes, 10\& minutes, 15 minutes\&, or 30 minutes. • Select Shortcut keys to assi\bn a navi\bation key as a\& shortcut for a function, such as t\&he calendar. • Select Auto key\buard to set the phone\fs keypad auto lock ti\&me or to disable the\& keypad auto lock. • Select Own phone number to display your phone number i\&n idle mode to remind you which SI\&M card you are usi\&n\b. • Select Download location to select the phone memory or \&the external memory card.

Display Settin\bs From idle mode, sel\&ect Menu > Settin\bs > Display. • Select Wallpaper and select a photo\& saved in Pictures, \&Other files, or Memo\&ry card. This will be\& used as wallpaper\&, which is shown in \&idle mode. • Select Backli\bht duration to adjust the backli\bht duration. • Select Main menu view to set the main menu to be displaye\&d as List or Grid. • Select Bri\bhtness to adjust the scree\&n bri\bhtness. • Select Keypad li\bht to adjust how lon\b \& the backli\bht for th\&e keypad remains on\&. • Select Owner name to enter the owner \& name. This is displ\&ayed in idle mode. • Select Greetin\b to enter a text \bree\&tin\b to be shown on the \&display when the phone is turned on.\& Connections Settin\bs From idle mode, sel\&ect Menu > Settin\bs > Connections. • Select Bluetooth to set up your pho\&ne as a Bluetooth device. • Select Access point settin\bs\r to add to, edit, or view the a\&ccess point list. • Select Modem settin\b to set up the phone as a modem. • Select Profile connect to create or edit the connection data \&for a service prov\&ider. • Select PC connection to choose the connection metho\&d between your computer and the pho\&ne. Calls Settin\bs Call Forwardin\b Call forwardin\b allows you to dive\&rt your incomin\b calls to an\&other phone number. Contact your servic\&e provider for more\& information and ava\&ilability. Call Waitin\b If a call comes in \&when you are alrea\&dy on a call, you are notifi\&ed with a call wait\&in\b tone. The phone shows the\& number/name of the \& waitin\b call. Contac\&t your service prov\&ider for more information\&. Send My Number This function allow\&s you to send or hi\&de your phone number w\&hen makin\b calls. You can also select \&Set by network. The network then choose\&s whether to show/h\&ide the phone number. This function req\&uires network support. Security Settin\bs Phone Password A password can pro\&tect your phone and\& help avoid ille\bal use. \&If your phone is p\&assword protected, you will\& have to enter the c\&orrect password when the p\&hone is turned on. • For a new phone, th\&e protection functio\&n is not activated by \&default, and the default password is\& 0000. • From idle mode, sel\&ect Menu > Settin\bs > Security > Activate security co\rdes > Phone lock code to start or stop password protection\&. • From idle mode, sel\&ect Menu > Settin\bs > Security > Chan\be security code\rs > Phone lock code to chan\be the phone\f\&s password. It is su\b\&\bested that you chan\be the password\& to somethin\b you will easily remembe\&r. Notes: • Please remember the \&password you set. Without it your phon\&e cannot be used normally and you wi\&ll need to contact your service provi\&der to unlock it. • Contact your servic\&e provider for more information. PIN Codes A PIN code is the p\&ersonal identificati\&on code used by the SI\&M card. Its purpose\& is to avoid ille\bal us\&e of your SIM card\&.
