To assemble the monitor base
1. Have the monitor base place on a flat table.
2. Use the screw, lock the base to the arm according to the below draw\
ing.
3. Remove the monitor height adjustment lock.

2.1 Detaching the arm/stand (for VESA wall mount) VESA wall mount. To detach the arm/stand: • W e recommend that you cover the table surface with soft cloth to prevent damage to the monitor . • Hold the stand of the monitor when you remove the screws. 2- The detachable stand of the VH242xL/VH232xL/VH236HL/VH222xL Series LCD monitor is specially designed for ASUS LCD Monitor VH242xL/VH232xL/VH236HL/VH222xL Series The VESA wall mount kit (00 mm x 00 mm) is purchased separately. For use only with UL Listed Wall Mount Bracket with minimum weight/load \ 7.4Kg (Screw size: 4mm x 12 mm) . Lower the monitor to its lowest height, and then inset the monitor heigh\ t adjustment lock. 2. Have the front of the monitor face down on a table. 3. Use a screwdriver to remove the two screws on the VESA cover, the slide out the arm/base to detach it from the monitor.

sub-functions you can select
for your preference. Each mode has the

Video Enhancement.
• Standard Mode: best choice for document editing with SPLENDID™
Video Enhancement.
• Theater Mode: best choice for movie with SPLENDID™ Video
Enhancement.
• Game Mode: best choice for game playing with SPLENDID™ Video
Enhancement.
• Night View Mode: best choice for dark-scene game or movie with
SPLENDID™ Video Enhancement.
• In the Standard Mode, the Satuation and ASCR functions are not user-configurable.
• In the other modes, the sRGB function is not user-configurable.

The adjusting range is from 0 to 00. • Focus: reduces Horizonal-line noise and Vertical-line noise of the image by adjusting (Phase) and (Clock) separately. The adjusting range is from 0 to 00.

5. System Setup
Allow you to adjust the system.
• Volume: the adjusting range is from 0 to 00. is a hotkey to activate
this function.
• OSD Setup: adjusts the horizontal postition (H-Position) and
the vertical position (V-Position) of the OSD. The adjusting range is
from 0 to 00. In the OSD Timeout selection, you can adjust the
OSD timeout from 0 to 20.
• Language: there are ten languages for your selection,
including English, German, Italian, French, Dutch, Spanish, Russian,
Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
• Aspect Controls: adjusts the aspect ratio to “Full” or “4:3”\
.
• Information: shows the monitor information.
• Reset: “Yes” allows you to revert to the preset mode.
4. Input Select
In this function, you can select VGA,DVI,HDMI input source.
(Only for some models)
• Color Temp.: contains five color modes including Cool, Normal,
Warm, sRGB, and User mode.
• Skin Tone: contains three color modes including Reddish, Natural,
and Yellowish.
In the User mode, colors of R (Red), G (Green), and B (Bluee) are \
user-configurable; the adjusting range is from 0-00.
