96 Power Mac G5 Take Apart Antenna Board and Cables: Power Mac G5 Tools The only tools required for this procedure are a long-handled and a short-handled Phillips screwdriver. 98 Power Mac G5 Take Apart Remove the Bluetooth cable (gray) and AirPort cable (black) from the cable guides and remove the antenna board and cables from the logic board. Replacement Note: Be careful when rerouting the two antenna cables that they route under the black connector for the front inlet fan. Be very careful when removing the caps and disconnecting the cable so that you do not damage the logic board or front panel board. To remove them, rock the caps gently forward and backward as you lift up. Press in on the release latch on the first power supply cable connector and disconnect the cable from the logic board.
