106 Power Mac G5 Take Apart Procedure Position the computer so the power supply is at the top. Remove the black plastic caps covering the two power supply cable connectors. Note: The caps fit tightly over the connectors. To remove them, rock the caps gently forward and backward as you lift up. Disconnect the cables from the logic board. Replacement Note: After reconnecting the power supply to the power harness cable, slightly lift the cable so that it does not become wedged under the power supply, and lower the power supply into the enclosure.
