11 Adjusting Viewing Angle For optimal viewing it is recommended to look at the full face of the monitor, then adjust the monitors angle to your own preference. Hold the stand so you will not topple the moni tor when you change the monitors angle. You are able to adjust the monitors angle from -3° to 12 °. NOTE: Do not touch the LCD screen when you change the a ngle. It may cause damage or break the LCD screen. -312
12 Connecting the Monitor Cable Connections On Back of Monitor and Computer: 1. Power 2. D-SUB 3. DVI To protect equipment, always turn off the PC and LCD monitor before connecting. 1 Connect the power cable to the AC port on the back of the monitor. 2 Connect one end of the 15-pin D-Sub cable to t he back of the monitor and connect the other end to the computers D-Sub port. 3 4 Turn on your monitor and computer. If your monitor displays an image, installation is comp lete. If it does not display an image, please refer Troubleshooting. (Optional-Requires a video card with DVI port )-Connect one end of the DVI cable to the back of the monitor and connect the other end to the computer’s DVI port.
13 Wall Mounting Preparing to Install An Optional Wall Mounting Arm. This monitor can be attached to a wall mounting arm you purchase separately. Disconnect power before this procedure. Follow these steps: 1 Place monitor on the firm surface (such as, table) 2 Use your hands to hold the monitor base 3 Use your hands to fold the monitor base as figure instructed above by switch safety lock to the right side 4 Once the monitor base begin to fold you can release the safety lock (caution: you must hear “click” after you fold the monitor base to wall mount position to ensure safety lock is lock properly.) 5 Follow the manufacturers instructions to assemble the wall mounting arm. 6 Place the wall mounting arm onto the back of the monitor. Line up the holes of the arm with the holes in the back of the monitor. 7 Insert the 4 screws into the holes and tighten. 8 Reconnect the cables. Refer to the users manual that came with the optional wall mounting arm for instructions on attaching it to the wall. Noted : VESA mounting screw holes are not available for all models, please check with the dealer or official department of AOC.

18 Hotkeys Power Press the Power button to turn 0n/off the monitor. Eco Mode / < Press the Eco key continuously to select the Eco m ode of brightness when there is no OSD ( Eco mode hot key may not be available in all models). 4:3 or wide image ratio / > When there is no OSD, press hotkey continuously to c hange 4:3 or wide image ratio. (If the product screen size is 4:3 or input signal resolution is wide format, the hot key is disable to adjust. ) Eco Mode/< 4:3 or wide / > Menu/Enter Po wer > Auto/Source/Exit When the OSD is closed, press Auto/Source/Exit button continuously about 2 second to do auto configure (only for the m odels with dual or more inputs). When the OSD is closed, press Auto/Sour ce/Exit button will be Source hot key function(Only for the models with dual or more inputs).Press Auto/Source/Exit button continuously to select the input source showed in the message bar, press Menu/Enter button to change to the source selected. 19 OSD Setting Basic and simple instruction on the control keys. 1) Press the MENU-button to activate the OSD window. 2) Press < or > to navigate through the functions. Once t he desired function is highlighted, press the MENU-button to activate sub-menu . Once the des ired function is highlighted, press MENU-button to activate it. 3) Press < or > to change the settings of the selected function. Press < or > to select another function in sub-menu . Press AUTO to exit . If you want to adjust an y other function, repeat steps 2-3. 4) OSD Lock Function: To lock the OSD, press and hold the MENU button while the monitor is off and then press power button to turn the monitor on. To un-lock the OSD - press and hold the MENU button while the monitor is off and then press power button to turn the monitor on. Notes: 1) If the product has only one signal input, the it em of Input Select is disable to adjust. 2) If the product screen size is 4:3 or input signal resolution is wide format, the item of Image Ratio is disable to adjust. 3) One of DCR, Color Boost, and Picture Boost functions is active, the other two function is turned off accordingly.
20 Luminance Press (Menu) to display menu. Press or to select (Luminance) , and press to enter. Press or to select submenu, press to enter, and press or to adjust. Press to exit.
