Cleaning Instructions Clean with mild soap and water with care applied in removing any excess soap or water. The terminal referenced as DC IN should be used only for an optional AC adapter to operate the instrument without batteries. The terminal referenced as MODPAK 91 INPUT should be used only to connect the instrument to the Modpak 91 mating connector. 4 WARNINGS 4 · If the equipment is used in a manner not specified by the manufacturer, the protection provided by the equipment may be impaired. · Before use, verify the meter’s operation by measuring a known voltage or current. · Inspect the test leads for damaged insulation or exposed metal and do not used if damaged. · Do not use this product if it is damaged. Before you use the product, inspect the case. Look for cracks or missing plastics. Pay particular attention to the insulation surrounding the connectors. · To avoid false readings, which could lead to possible electric shock or personal injury, replace the batteries as soon as the low battery indicator appears. · When using the probes, keep your fingers behind the exposed metal by at least 10mm. · Do not operate the meter with the instrument open. · Remove test probes from any measurement circuits prior to opening or changing batteries. · Use only 9V alkaline batteries.
